Whenever they beg for money, I switch over to Rush Limbaugh. It's sad that those are the only two talk radio options.NPR is already filled with commercials and highfalutin shoutouts, why do they still beg? If you can't make budget with Bill and Melinda Gates giving you cash you should probably trim the fat.

I find it slightly amusing any time I hear the Grey Goose Vodka underwriting/ad.

^^ The People's Pharmacy is okay but pretty boring. They should have kept it at 7am Saturday morning to cater to the old folks who are up and are likely the only ones who listen anyways. Sound Opinions is kinda hit or miss. I liked the news stories they did pertaining to internet radio but most of the time they're just music snobs promoting some fairly boring group as being the next best thing. Although I did get into Lily Allen because of them. I guess I am just bothered that they never seem to mention the merits and happenings of electronic music other than when it meshes with other genres.R.I.P. Weekend America <3 Good News, Bad News, No News

That's because electronic music is boring more often than not.Weekend America was mostly terrible.

I rather enjoy Echoes the one time a season I listen to it, and every so often a "world hit" on the World proves entertaining, such as Turkey's take on the Final Countdown.

I don't go out of my way to hear any particular show, just whatever happens to be on when I'm in the car. I'll usually switch to NPR on the hour to hear the news, and then just let it slide into whatever show comes next without going back to music.I mix it up with 1360AM sometimes though because they do CBS news on the hour, and some local news too.
2/6/2010 6:27:58 PM
Where did Bob Edwards Weekend go? Grrr. And they had Radiolab on there for a time but since that show is only in limited production (which I believe leads to substantially better quality) I guess it wasn't enough to keep it in the main rotation.
