Cook for her, and make her favorite desert. Set the atmosphere in your place, and find a nice movie.

Elaine's on Franklin - http://www.elainesonfranklin.com/Yes, it's in Chapel Hill but the food is AMAZING and the owner is the coolest guy. If you are looking for somewhere very nice and classy, then you really can not go wrong!

I went Evoo last year. It was pretty money. closed down now thoughWhat is moonlight pizza like? I'm really trying to find a place that'll be good, somewhat swanky, or at least have something "unique" about it even if it isn't especially nice, but has an unusual atmosphere with good food . I'm willing to travel a bit too.

20 month old daughter and no babysitter kind of limits my options. I've cooked on Valentine's Day before, but I'd like to do something a little different than stuffed chicken breast. I've got it in my head to boil some lobsters. Online videos make it look easy, anyone w/ experience in this?Oh, and I'm planning on doing something w/ the meat instead of handing her a lobster claw and saying "enjoy!". Maybe whole tails though, but claws are a bitch to open at the table.[Edited on January 18, 2010 at 3:57 PM. Reason : .]

Bella Napoliseriously the best Italian place I have ever been to (lobster ravioli was awesome). The inside has a nice feel to it too.

go buy whole live maine lobsters.... break claws off after stabbing a knife through the bottom center to kill it... then cut the tail in half (from underside) then pour cream and maybe some lemon juice around slit... then precrack claws throw in boiling water put tail in oven (on broil) and take out in like 15 minutes
