I don't understand her popularity. If her first hit wasn't making it obvious enough, this last one is just plain as day. She's white trash with autotune. I know people back in the tiny little bumpkin town I escaped from just like her, that never got off their ground and stagnate until they get pregnant or turn into alcoholics.

Not true. She's actually fake white trash, supposedly of the 1590 SAT (on the 1600 scale) caliber.

i mean i guess if she's supposedly that smart that maybe she's maintaining the image because she knows she'll make money that way, but just because you're smart doesn't mean you can't still be genuine white trash.

^^just looked that up because that seemed pretty surprising and apparently the only place that was EVER mentioned was when she herself said in an interview that she wasn't a partier growing up, rather she was "studious" growing up and got a "near perfect" SAT score. Wouldn't be surprised in the least if that was just some made up BS for her image.

Besides, I think the test was already switched over to 2400 max when she would have taken it anyway, so the 1590 is probably just some perpetuated rumor built off of her own remarks. Also, the same article I read to find that out said she dropped out of HS in the fall of her Junior year. Makes me wonder why she would have even taken the SAT since most people take that at the end of Junior year and she clearly wasn't planning to go to college.

Either way the fact that I just took the time to look that up makes me sad I spent time thinking about her. Unfortunately when you get on TWW to look at one thread, you get sucked into lots of others.

^^^She dropped out to start off her music career, and unlike most people who do this she made a good decision; also in her interview on NPR around when the video for "Tik Tok" came out she sounded very intelligent, and she would have taken the SAT in 2004, when it still lacked a writing section and the scores still went from 400 to 1600.
