So I finally had some Chubby's tacos the other day. For our Beer Friday event at work, food was delivered from Chubby's, and I must say, it was all excellent. The Taquitos were great too. I have a feeling this will become a recurring meal for us...

Do you live near Cary? I heard the taqueria off of East Chatham is supposed to be excellent. Haven't had a chance to try it yet though.

the only thing i really ACTUALLY like about this place is the salsa bar. the food is fine, but the salsa bar is what attracts me. i love lots of different kinds of salsa.

i also have another story about chubbys but it is inappropriate.

their salsa bar is the bomb (but no flaming amys salsa bar imo)
two taco meal should be enough for most, and get black beans as at least 1 of your sides
burritos don't really do it for me...they look kinda gross to me. I don't know if it's the thick shell or what

Dear Chubby's,

I regret to inform that I found a much better taqueria right down the street from my apartment. Not only does it have a salsa bar, but it also has a toppings bar, and lengua, and other tasty fillings you don't have. The cashier doesn't really speak English, but that's okay because I remember my Spanish numbers from elementary school.

Don't worry, I'll still visit you during work lunch
