Its a top play in my book, IF the vass majority of the general population of the planet can not make the play that is being shown. If some dude drives in and scores on Shaq so be it. Same goes with some dude that kicks a 50yd goal from mid field. It is all about what sports are being played at the time I know for a fact we have all seen a thirdbasemen make the dive to then throw the ball to first and get the guy out but let's be honest here there isn't much need to see some clips from a water polo or chess match here. People watch sportscenter because they missed the big play last night

i get a little tired of seein the same lebron dunk on what seems a daily basis. is it impressive? sure, i guess. but it seems relatively mundane for what he's capable of, and loses its "wow" factor, to me anyway, after maybe the 3rd time i saw it.

the walk-off solo hr is what is absurd to be in the top plays every damn day. There's dozens of home runs hit every day. Nothing other than the timing within the game makes one that barely clears the wall by 2 rows more special than one blasted 450ft in the top of the 5th.

thats my same rationale for not liking milestone top plays. i dont care if that particular play put so and so at #1 all time for strike outs, it wasnt an amazing play. i'm sure you mentioned it earlier in the show, dont bog down "top plays" with ordinary ones.

When attempting a slam dunk-shot, one should not forget the first rule of said shot: do not, I repeat, NOT fake the funk, especially on a dunk of a nasty variety.

^^^depends on the difficulty of the pitch/pitcher and I think the game situation is a factor. Higher pressure = more impressive.
