Every vaccine out there has the potential to cause serious adverse effects:
http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side-effects.htm

also to sweeten the pot(seems like this should go along with it)
http://wellness.blogs.time.com/2009/10/08/the-riskiest-fda-regulated-foods/

I cannot think of anything that is 100% safe.

Pick your poison.

and i feel so bad for this girl.

^^^ I would rather die of H1N1 than deal with this condition forever.

I've heard of this really crazy side effect that effects people who get this vaccine...

YOU DON'T GET THE FUCKING FLU

crazy shit. very sad...

I actually took a referral call the other week...a girl had this same thing happen to her after receiving Gardasil (the HPV vaccine)

i watched the video again... and it is just so surreal. doesn't even seem real, seems like she is acting (of course, she is not).

if someone tells you about this condition, you would brush them off and say it is impossible.

but once you watch the video, it just blows your mind away.

still reeling from watching the video.

yeh... I don't like medicines either and I only get the required vaccines... and I never get sick. definitely reaffirms my belief that manmade medicines are still whacky and have many unknowns

I feel horrible for this girl and her family.

I call bullshit

Not that the girl has Dystonia, but that it was caused by the flu vaccine

correlation does not imply causation

there is absolutely no evidence to support that her getting a fucking shot made her come down with this problem. Any number of things could have triggered the condition.

This is a case of the media fear-mongering by latching on to a sob story, and spinning it to fuel the fear fire of a group of people (anti-vaccine activists) already highly susceptible to shoddy logic and misinformation.

not that this video has any weight in my decision at all, but I have only gotten a flu shot once in my life (soph year in college) and in my memory that is one of only 2 winters where I have had "flu symptoms." still havent decided whether I should get the vaccine for either of them this year.

as i just stated, only 2x have I shown flu symptoms and one time I was much younger, the other was the only year I got the flu shot in college. the wife and I have discussed getting it though. I really don't have anything against it or anything, I just never make the time to go get the vaccination Either way, I don't think I'll get the H1N1 vaccination, prob just the regular flu shot if I get one.

well, i picked a hell of a day to get a free flu shot at the fair. but i couldn't resist the appeal of eating extreme amounts of calories and following up with a flu vaccine. it just seemed so american...i had to partake.

I find it amusing that the H1N1 vaccine has the same side effects as THE ACTUAL VIRUS.

Quote :
"Mild problems:

* soreness, redness, tenderness, or swelling where the shot was given
* fainting (mainly adolescents)
* headache, muscle aches
* fever
* nausea

Thank god, the anti-vaccine movement was able to remove the toxins from her body to cure her!

^hahaha that never gets old huh?

I thought you said she had gotten fat or something?

I like the woman better already. I bet she is a well adjusted adult having experienced the onslaught of bullshit so early in life. I always support strong white women.

I take it you never got close?
