I think you can pay a yearly subscription. I also have two friends living in New York that share a membership.

they did sell memberships in the past, but don't any longer. But yeah, I guess you could use a friend's account.

http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=584608&page=1i made a thread because i didnt know this one existed I went to B&N today for something totally unrelated and while I was checking out the nook display, the employee at the customer service desk mentioned that someone returned one today and that it was still in the original packaging. If you ordered one today, you'd get it sometime in Feb. So I went after it...a bit impulsive but I'm an avid reader and have some great opportunities to get some serious use out of it.

I say use the thread you created, just because this thread has such an unfathomably shitty title.

^ you can take it to B&N and pay 10% restocking fee OR you can sell it to someone online and prob get back exactly what you paid for it

oh it hadn't shipped yet and I was able to cancel the order. I'm just pissed at my aunt.

I'm locking this one - use this thread: message_topic.aspx?topic=584608&page=1 instead.Yes, I realize this one was first, but the other one has a much better title, and will actually show up when folks search for threads about the nook.
