yesterday did a fun walk for cancer, family octoberfest at my uncle and aunt's house and then went out and was social last night.

today slept in went to my nephews t-ball game (so cute!), cleaned the apartment, did some work and cooked dinner.

I pretty much laid up in bed or on the couch sick. Missed my 20th class reunion. Left the house long enough to get some fishes from Captain D's today, and that's it. Well, washed the dawgs.

Sat: cut grass/edge/trim, laundry, worked out w/ friend at a different gym, had a girl tell me "if i had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have gotten married" (w/ a wink (WTF)), caught up on tv

After being laid off Friday morning, I had my first beer at 11:30 and proceeded to drink the rest of the day/evening. Had a great conversation w/ my sister in law though, so that was nice. I was very hammered, and turned in to a crying hot mess by the end of the night.

Saturday I spent most of the morning hating myself, my head, and the rest of the world. I reeked of stale beer, worthlessness, morning breath, smoke & bad decisions. I went back to bed and woke up around 4 with no hangover and less hate for the world. Had a night in with the husband, and we watched Freaks and Geeks. I fell asleep early.

Today, I woke up at 8:00--very refreshed and feeling better about my situation. Had coffee and was back from the grocery store by noon. My plans of doing laundry were interrupted b/c my husband lost his scooter keys and needed me to meet him. Split a fry w/ him at Bada and enjoyed the company of some friends. Came home, and I'm starting to mentally plan my week sans employment. Gonna make the best of this

Friday: flew in a large force exercise (LFE), drank a bunch of beer afterwards at the O-club

Saturday: Stood duty until 8:30 pm. Crashed in my hotel room afterwards.

Today: Slept in, ate lunch, scoured Craigslist and eBay for motorcycles and cigarette boats. About to do laundry and hit the gym.

What the hell? I've made it from Raleigh to Pensacola (all the way through AL) in 10 hours (and done it in 11 hours without speeding egregiously or otherwise being hurried)

Well, the only two times I've got straight between Enterprise and Raleigh I've been sick, and I know that added to my time, as did the fact that I'd maxed out the GW on my truck with the trailer it was pulling and it'd fishtail any time it got above 55.

oh yeah, Enterprise to Raleigh definitely shouldn't take 12 hours. I'd guess more like 9 or a little more (or a little less if you were really raging the entire trip)

friday night hung out with some new lady friends, unfortunately the dude i brought got way too drunk and we had to leave early

work saturday for someone who was a little too hung over, then went to saps's house for an aliens marathon, late night Pizza America (please dont judge me)

Sunday went to Bada for the cornhole tournament...that is scheduled next weekend, stayed for football, went to work to pick up check, stayed for a drink, and now i am home

Not a bad weekend, but def not the best i've had recently

saturday - woke up early and went to the gym, then to the library, then watched football until I went out to a halloween party, which was awesome
