You can get the CheddarBo (and some of the other items not found in Raleigh) at the Bojangles off 64 in Nashville (the Original Nashville, mind you)...pretty sure this is the closest one to Raleigh (going East anyhow).

the one in Wilson is probably closer.

chedder bo biscuits are overrated. It's like a cajun chicken sandwich with cheese, except it's missing the very best part. boberry biscuits, however, are excellence.

Cheddarbo biscuits are owned/trademarked by a franchise of bojangles. Tands Food Systems. They are the only ones allowed to sell it, even the bojangles corporation itself cannot sell it. Tands has approximately 55 restaurants from Va. down to sc.

dude, it's not like you can patent cheese in a biscuit. other restaurants can sell you one, they just can't call it a cheddarbo

of course, but do other bojangles locations typically have cheddar on hand, or just fucking wretched, American cheese(-product)?

Are these the ones that had fruit/jelly in the center, kind of like a danish? They used to have those in the Charlotte area and they were so much better than the modern day bo berry biscuit.

Also, they need to bring buffalo bites roasted chicken bites to Raleigh already!!!

In trying to discover what a "cheddar Bo biscuit" is (a biscuit with a piece of cheese?) I found this article. These things look bomb. http://www.newsobserver.com/2012/11/06/2465808/say-cheese-please.html

Also...all you can eat at a bojangles? So like, literally all you can eat at their restaurant, all day? Is there a buffet? Or do you just go up to the counter and order 20 sandwiches at will? I've never heard of this. Only been to this place once, but I don't have any real memories.

This is a Cheddar-Bo:

There's nothing cosmic about it; it's a Bojangles' biscuit with cheddar cheese. They typically have a lot of cheese; it runs out all over the sides and gets kind of crispy. They serve them wrapped up in aluminum foil.

I mean, I've had many different cheese biscuits all my life...most of them with cheddar, for that matter. The Cheddar-Bo, though...I don't know why specifically it's so extra good, but my God, they are delicious.

I had never seen a cheddarbo til yesterday, stopped at the bojangles on my way from wilmington back to raleigh at Warsaw and saw them sitting in the window. I almost went back through the line to order one but I didn't wanna go through the trouble. I regret that decision

so is there a logical explanation why the franchisees in Raleigh/west of Raleigh would choose not to offer a popular item that is readily available to put on the menu?

So this post is like 4 years old but...if this is the Bo's I'm thinking of, right off exit 312 for Hwy 42 on I-40 1) I didn't realize they had the all you can eat and 2) lol at that being in the "boonies". Then again...maybe I'm mistaken about which location you're talkin about

i have worked IT (both hardware and BOH software development, both as an independent contractor) for several restaurant franchises and this is the opposite of every single one...corporate dictates the options and the franchisee has SOME flexibility in what they choose to offer (obviously "signature" foods are not optional)

that said, i realize that my experience is limited...but the idea of the "cheddarbo" being owned by a franchise and ONLY sold by that franchise seems weird from a corporate standpoint

^ yes, but tands is their largest franchisor. I agree that this is completely opposite, as i am in a franchise myself. The only reason i know is that tands is my competitor, and i employ a few former managers from them.

i bet traub owns one of those really shitty franchises that doesn't even have the smoked sausage biscuit on the menu all the time. they probably only run it as a limited time special.

If some other folks with real money want to invest in one, let me know. Franchising fee is ~350k with a 500k demonstrated line of credit or cash on-hand
