1. SEC2. Big 123. Big 104. Pac 105. Big East6. ACC7. Mountain West8. WAC9. Notre DameI think the real strength of the big 10 this year will be Penn State and Michigan State with tOSU and UM tied for 3rd. tOSU defense looked slow.....against Navy.....USC is going to win by 3 TDs[Edited on September 7, 2009 at 12:59 PM. I mean top to bottom. I think the 2 best teams in the ACC are probably GT and VT. The big 10's only cupcakes this year are Indiana and maybe Illinois, but Illinois could still make a bowl. Typo on putting the ACC below the Big East. But the Pac 10 is much improved this year. Stanford and Arizona will be good not great teams. Washington is better, oregon state is still decent. Washington State is horrible as usual, but with Cal, UCLA, and the pay as you go USC Trojans make the Pac 10 pretty decent this year.

1. SEC2. not the SEC3. not the SEC4. not the SEC5. not the SECI WOULD ARGUE THAT MY TURD IS MORE POLISHED THAN YOUR TURD
9/7/2009 2:40:18 PM
i was including FSU and Miami in ny thinking. Still GT and VT should be the best 2 teams

9/7/2009 9:10:11 PM
top 2 are a lock but i think MWC is 3rd. No other top 3 could compete with their top 3 and its not like the bottom of the conference wouldn't put up a fight against the Dukes and Virginias.

9/7/2009 9:20:07 PM
I think tonight was a pretty good night for the ACC
9/7/2009 11:59:50 PM
Tonight definitely helped out the ACC a little. The ACC NEEDS Miami and FSU to be worth a shit.
9/8/2009 12:01:56 AM
definitely did
9/8/2009 12:02:31 AM
I am not sure I agree that we need F$U and Cubami to be good again. I think we need the rest of the conference to stop sucking dick.
9/8/2009 12:03:06 AM
I was unaware that Miami had a bunch of Cubans on their teamhmmmthe more you know...
9/8/2009 12:04:59 AM
they have a lot of thugs on their team. Miami has a lot of Cubans in the fucking town. The thugs might be Cuban, but I am going to bet on another ethnicity.

lolFSU 19 Jacksonvill St 9 (FSU was losing going into the 4th qtr)Maryland 38 James Madison 35 in OTUNC 12 (on some bs) Uconn 12 (who many picked to finish 2nd to last in the Big east)
9/13/2009 8:19:41 PM
lol indeed
9/13/2009 8:22:44 PM
hey i still picked the winner, what have you contributed
9/13/2009 8:23:32 PM
Well, so far there doesn't seem to be anyone looking especially good this season. The Big Ten is having it's issues, same with the Big East. The Big 12 doesn't feel like their usual overpowering self in the regular season, and nobody cares about the PAC 10 outside of USC (which hasn't looked fantastic yet either).Even the SEC's kinda gotten off to a rambling start, although without any embarrassment for themselves like the rest of us.So it's either just a slow start to the season, or this is the year that CFB parity finally starts killing the bigger conferences and we wind up with 3 or 4 legitimate BCS contenders from the mid-majors.

i dont know if i'm reading that page right but...NC State is rated as last in the ACC?how is our SOS #153 if UNC's SOS is #82??and how would we be behind UVA?

I just caught this:
9/17/2009 5:14:30 PM
In any sort of statistical or objective rating the ACC always seems to be in the top 3.[Edited on September 17, 2009 at 5:34 PM. Reason : Except 07 when the ACC was terrible, only better than the big 10]
9/17/2009 5:32:09 PM
9/17/2009 7:21:02 PM
I feel dumb forgetting about the always stable Air Force and CSU. Still. Not #3.
9/18/2009 3:41:42 PM
9/18/2009 4:32:14 PM
All I responded to was the statement that duke would kill the mwc's #4... which I don't think is true... Duke is hideously bad again and those mwc teams aren't terrible... With the scholarship differences there is NO excuse for a bcs conference team to lose to a 1-aa team. Period.
9/18/2009 6:11:41 PM
A team like App St (or the App State the last few years) or Richmond could beat the bottom dweller in any BCS conference on a given Saturday

Wow this guy totally stole my thread. ACC football sucks combined with credibility watch. Jacked on both fronts.

^ Sometimes your credibility wavers, but you did create a quality thread in the original ACC credibility watch.

9/19/2009 9:36:09 AM
Good boost today IMO.Virginia Tech, UNC, and Florida State picked up good wins but Maryland had an embarrassing loss and UVA and Duke also lost.

Here is the TRUE strength of conferences thus far for the '09 season: 1. SEC (I hated typing this one) 2. Big 12 3. Pac 10 (California and UCLA are slowly bringing some balance to the conference) 4. ACC 5. Big 10 (Penn State and Ohio State may go toe to toe with Miami/VT, but our conference is wayyyy deeper this year from top to bottom then the big 10 6. Mountain West 7. Conference USA (Houston and Southern Miss would run circles around ANY Big East squad!) 8. Big East
