I just bought a 2005 Z71 Fully Loaded with all sorts of fun gadgets and I bought it from a middle aged old dude off of Craigslist. I wasn't really going to buy a truck unless I found a good deal and exactly what I wanted. But it runs great, looks great and its a lot of fun. The only thing that pissed me off about the guy, is it wasn't inspected when I bought it. Somehow he had renewed his tags without inspecting it and his inspection was due May 2009. Also my wipers were bad and it needed an oil change AND I needed to wash it and clean the inside. AND he left it with absolutely NO gas even after I offered to drive his ass back to Rock Mount. Douchebag!

ANYWAYS... I found a good deal and went to my bank. If you go to a Credit Union, you can get the best interest rates (4-7%) if you have good credit. My regular bank (Wachovia told me that their interest rates start at like 9% and go up to 14%) So I went to Coastal Federal Credit Union and got a really great rate

I'd post a pic but the only pics i have right now are on stalkbook and my jerb wont allow stalkbook

Well I thought he was going to at least change the oil. And I didn't bother to ask him about inspection because of that new inspection tag renewel thing. His tag was renewed in July and I saw this. If someone can clarify as to why he could renew his tags without an updated inspection, please let me know cause I wasn't allowed to put tags on it until it was inspected ( so I kept his tag until it could be tagged).
I wasn't aware of the crappy wipers until I cleaned it up.

And honestly, if someone offers to take your ass back to Rocky Mount, its just considerate to offer to at least put in enough gas to get him home.

I don't think I would have been upset (and I am not really pissed, just unsettled) that he would sell a truck and not do some cleaning up or minimal maintenance on it. The inspection thing was just irresponsible.

When I sold my old bike, I changed the belt, the oil, and had it fixed up and then cleaned it up.
