"I want to take you in that bedroom, lock the door, take your clothes off with my teeth, throw you on the bed, and give you a go-round like you've never had!" OH PEGGY

and that teacher

I hope Joan isn't gone for good and Peggy just can't seem to get with a decent guy, but at least with Duck she moved up a little from the old couch in Pete's office.

its because she is hideous and has career ambitions. let that be a lesson for all

I really liked how that teacher called Don out."most dad's just ask if i'm going to be around"it cracked his cool demeanor. don tried to make her feel silly as if he has no intentions with her but she didn't buy it. also peggy feels good about her career aspirations but she has the classic ugly girl syndrome where she envies the casual nature and attention of the pretty girl. thats why shes whores herself out so much. it allows her to convince herself she has the prettiness too.
10/1/2009 1:52:12 PM
^That teacher was fiending for some Don Draper when she called him up all boozy

this weeks was okay for me the biggest thing i liked was that lucky strike dude told sal he knows what he knows so sal is most likely starting to realize he isn't as indiscreet as he once thought. i also liked how the writers reminded us that don can be a big ass hole and straight told sal he should have fucked the dude.the teacher arc is boring me right now.
10/13/2009 9:31:33 AM
I'm not really liking the teacher story line either, but I'm loving the Betty one. and OMG Sal, he kind of needs to work on how he handles unwanted attention.

i really liked last nights episode. i was surprised by the amount that i actually enjoyed the teacher dynamic this time around. i also really liked that both parties thought the hang up was for them and it turned out not to be. the self-awareness of sally is another aspect that is coming into light that I am beginning to enjoy. shes asking questions, wonder about aspects of her family and culture at large and it not much time i think we'll see her developmentally surpass her mother.betty is about to lose her shit again and that always makes for entertainment. i also liked how the lumps of cash didn't interest her at all like the one lone box did.peggy's triumph again was great as was harvey's expression at the end there.the only downside is there are only 3 more episodes and i feel as if not much has happened really. a lot of story lines, but not much story here. granted we have to see where betty's revelation takes us.
10/19/2009 1:48:52 PM
i enjoyed the episode also. i think they're setting up for a hell of a finale. betty is going to go off the deep end.

Does anybody else think it's really narcissistic that Kinsey gets off to his own Jackie/Marilyn ad?and I love the "You can't frame a phone call" campaign. Don and Peggy are so good together, I'm glad he rescued her from the receptionist pool.I miss Joan and Sal. ]

i want to bang the shit out of joan. glad she is back.nice way to end the season. sets up an interesting next season[Edited on November 9, 2009 at 3:27 AM. Reason : .]

i really thought this was a superior episode. they'll eventually need an art director which leaves a chance for sal to return.betty is gone. i imagine we'll see her on and off this next season, but for the final season she'll be no more.also i really like those who they selected. i was really worried we were going to lose pete campbell's character this season. kosgrove and kinsey both had their individual nemesis and competition get chosen over them. Just 9 months to wait now

tartsquid linked to this on twitter, I thought it was really neat: Article about the man who inspired Don Draper, in name at the very least: http://tinyurl.com/meqotq

that was such a satisfying episode. All of Peggy's scenes really got to me.

FUCK YEAI love the next season that has been set up. Don and Bert friends again, Joan back, Peggy maybe back on the fore front and w/ more self assertiveness adn power, Pete/youth movement, and Family drama on the back burner. I hope they get back to advertising. Them in control will be much better than being beaten down.I wonder how Price will evolve in all this.[Edited on November 9, 2009 at 6:56 PM. Reason : ]

you guys are deluding yourselves if you think the main character's divorce is going to be on the back burner. as we all know, divorces are minor life events

yea, i foresee betty getting dumped on her ass at some point.

I still miss Sal.
11/12/2009 1:25:53 PM
^the new firm will need an art director. actually, i don't think they'd do that. but i'm guessing Sal will appear in some capacity. i'm bummed that Kinsey might not be around any more. i loved laughing at that jackass.
11/12/2009 2:07:22 PM
I doubt Sal will be back since American Tobacco is still their biggest client
