Looks like an unimaginative gym teacher's dream home. What's up with this design on a dime scarf hanging?
8/1/2009 10:14:29 AM
so is that what Lottery Money buys these days?
8/1/2009 10:22:54 AM
while a bit tacky, that's quite a bit of house for "only" $1e6. Its all about location, I suppose.
8/1/2009 10:47:58 AM
KOBE SUCKS, I WOULD HAVE MADE THAT SHOT
8/1/2009 11:18:52 AM
I'm assuming you're not buying the furniture so I don't understand why everyone is so hung up on it.
8/1/2009 12:54:29 PM
that's a lot of house for $1.3M, imo.
8/1/2009 2:20:31 PM
that's a lot of ugly/bad design for 1.3
8/1/2009 2:29:31 PM
i like it. reminds me of work. my favorite place on earth.
8/1/2009 3:04:54 PM
just goes to show that money can't buy taste
8/1/2009 3:21:13 PM
or goes to show that not everyone likes what you like.
8/1/2009 3:21:43 PM
do YOU like that house?
8/1/2009 3:32:09 PM
I dont mind it. It does look like it would feel like an office building. Have YOU ever been inside of it?
8/1/2009 4:27:34 PM
What a tacky mess. It looks like a "new money" type wanted something large, but since they had never been exposed to anything nice, they didn't know what the hell they were doing.

Fancy gym bathroom
8/1/2009 5:11:51 PM
Can't use the shower by the door unless you're the last one in and first one out.

I love those oriental type rugs with the Carmichael-esque bathroom.
8/1/2009 7:47:18 PM
That bathroom looks like you could run a pet grooming business out of it. Just put a leash post at each station, put your pooch up on the red countertops, and start trimming.
8/1/2009 7:53:00 PM
they filmed miami vice in wilson?
8/1/2009 8:18:44 PM
This house is LOLtastic. Who builds a fucking 10,000 sq foot house and makes the inside look like an over-glorified trailer?
8/2/2009 2:25:18 PM

the finishes aren't too terrible for something built in 1995.finished correctly, that house should be worth $250 to $300/sf and that is about what it would cost (total) to bring it into the 21st century. (approx. $100/sf purchase + $150 to $200/sf renovation)i would say that it is a bargain; a fixer-upper if you will. It is not something I would want, but surely they will eventually find the right buyer.P.S. People that buy $1.3M homes tend to gut and redo the finishes to their likings anyway. Most of the time one is buying the structure, not the decor.P.P.S. People that buy $1.3M homes in this economy do not finance them either.

looks like a church on the outside

i don't think the kitchen is too bad...
8/3/2009 12:21:52 PM
the drawer and cabinet handles and pulls look like they're straight out of a chemistry lab

Buffie is not as bad as Pussie
8/5/2009 9:51:13 PM
Words cannot express how truly ugly this house is. The majority of it looks like it came from Office Depot or the Chippendale look-alike section. And that bathroom...who puts red counters as the focal point? I could have bought a farm and put down a modest house for that much money.
