Yeah, the Deborah snooping around thing kinda slipped in there, but that's certainly going to cause some ill shit.

Just watched ep. 2- I don't like the Angel/Maria storyline at all. Probably because I like Angel and hate Maria.- I like John Lithgow a lot so far. He's a much better guest star than Jimmy Smits. - The dynamic between Quinn and Dexter seems to be heading towards Quinn becoming another doaks(sp?)- The last scene with Dexter trying to sleep, and the baby crying... FUCK It's harder to watch this show now that I have to wait a week between episodes.

I would say Lundy is going to die, but I think that'd be too predictable. More like he'll probly escape which will lead to being able to catch the killer...
10/11/2009 11:26:31 PM
Naw Lundy is definitely toast. I'd be very surprised if he isn't the next kill. On another note -***SPOILERS***I was reading about shooting scenes for this season well before I found out what Lithgows role would be. And they were talking about Dexter and Lithgow going out in the woods together hunting or something. I'd be very interested to see how it gets to that point.*** END SPOILERS ***[Edited on October 12, 2009 at 7:21 AM. Reason : a]

i've obviously missed a lot of stuff in the first 3 episodes. my husband had to explain to me why Debra's partner was buttering up Dexter with football tickets and such. i guess i missed that part! so i'm going to watch all 3 episodes again before next weekend cuz apparently i'm missing alot. and i don't get why Lundy would bite the big one, unless Trinity knows he has been following him all these years?
10/12/2009 9:12:06 AM
Because Lundy said the next kill was going to be an older man. And the preview shows the two meeting.
10/12/2009 9:43:03 AM
i have a theory about WHY he kills in 3's and WHY it's always those 3 types of killings. should i let loose or keep my mouth shut? ]
10/12/2009 9:46:59 AM
Because those three happened to him or something. His sister killed herself in the bathtub, mom killed herself by jumping and dad did something.
10/12/2009 9:53:37 AM
ok so....everyone is on the same page
10/12/2009 9:57:51 AM
AAAAAAH!! GREAT episode!!
10/18/2009 10:44:10 PM
i'm really enjoying this season. i also liked how they said the trinity kills started in raleigh the episode before last night's.
10/19/2009 10:11:28 AM
Raleigh is where Michael C. Hall is from so i'm not surprised about that i went to bed at 9pm and didn't watch this week's episodei'm holding a Dexter marathon in my living room today after work, and i plan to watch every episode
10/19/2009 10:12:52 AM
I have read most of the books. Typically I like the books better than the show or movie (Harry Potter, DaVinci Code ect) but in this case the show is better. I love Michael C. Hall! He is perfect for the role.I cannot wait for the next episode. I think it is going to be cool to see Dexter pick up where Lundy left off.
10/20/2009 2:01:56 PM
*****SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN EPISODE 4*****ok lemme make sure i'm not way off the mark here....Trinity didn't shoot Lundy/Deb right? that's just some random vandals right?*****END SPOILER*****
10/20/2009 2:11:24 PM
^*****SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN EPISODE 4*****I don't think it was Trinity. The shooter was dressed in all black and took Lundys wallet which is out of character for him. I don't think Trinity would break his code and shoot Deb and Lundy. I could be wrong though because in the preview for the next episode Dexter mentions he usually doesn't kill for revenge and then proceeds to research Trinitys killings. I think im reading into this a little much...
10/20/2009 3:12:37 PM
It was probably the vacation killer they keep talking about
10/20/2009 6:19:00 PM
What if it was the bf?? I was talking w/ a friend and we both agreed that Lundy had a look of recognition on his face before it happened.
10/20/2009 8:44:43 PM
I think it was just Trinity emulating the vacation killer out of convenience. Clearly Lundy was on to him and he had to do something - why not hop on some other killer's MO to get rid of him
10/21/2009 11:02:58 AM
I think they could have made it more interesting if it hadn't been the trinity killer, but actually deb's bf who shot em, yet have dexter still think it's trinity.
10/26/2009 10:45:52 AM
I absolutely LOVE the fact that Trinity has a family. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
10/26/2009 10:56:16 AM
yeah that was a great twist. First few episodes of Dexter this year were okay but last two have been awesome. Looks like they are back on track.
10/26/2009 7:13:29 PM
^^^ that could still happen. well, maybe not the boyfriend. but maybe it was quinn or some other random person we don't know about yet. it could be a good twist.also, i noticed that trinity was yelling at the coffee guy while he was killing him. im assuming trinity killed his dad?
10/26/2009 8:49:52 PM
from what i can figure, Trinity began his 3some killings by killing his own family 30 years ago. his sister (in the bathtub), his mother (falling to her death), and then his father (beat to death). so that's why he always kills in 3's. so he was yelling at the guy while he was killing him as if he were yelling at his own father, "you did this to me", "it's your fault", or whatever else he was yelling.]
10/26/2009 9:04:02 PM
best episode of the season so far
10/26/2009 10:23:58 PM
absolutely awesome.
10/27/2009 12:23:20 AM
awesome
10/27/2009 12:25:45 AM
i LOVED when dexter saw trinity on the security camera. it scared the shit out of me. and i liked all of the steps he took to find him; getting lundys tape ect. i hate waiting a whole week for another episode blahh.
10/27/2009 1:46:51 PM
going to check these out later but here is the link to the new webisodeshttp://www.sho.com/site/dexter/earlycuts/home.do
10/27/2009 7:58:18 PM
I don't usually like Quinn but it was awesome when he tazed that meth bitch.
10/28/2009 11:28:13 AM
Last nights episode was pretty good. I am sick of the Angel and Maria relationship shit. I was getting annoyed with Rita but when she handed Dex the key at the end my faith was renewed. I absolutely LOVE Trinity and the relationship development between Dexter and Trinity. The way Trinity calls Dexter Kyle is odd but I am sure that it has nothing to do with anything. I am interested to see where this Quinn thing is heading. I feel like something huge will happen with him. Maybe Dexter will kill him?[Edited on November 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Reason : sp]
11/2/2009 10:59:38 AM
Trinity is calling Dexter "Kyle" because that's how he introduced himself to Trinity the first time they met after church. Also, the episodes are getting better and better. I love the fact that Dexter and Trinity are becoming "friends", and the scene where Dexter picked up Trinity's sister's remains and was just standing there with them - sooooo awkward!! OMG! I was cringing with excitement on the couch. Phenomenal episode, and I think it's only gonna get better!
11/2/2009 11:09:12 AM
^ I know. Kyle Butler was how he introduced himself. I'm just saying the way Trinity says Kyle seems odd. Almost as if it is foreshadowing that Trinity may figure out Dexter isn't "Kyle."
11/2/2009 11:51:14 AM
pretty good episode. I loved the scenes with Dexter at the therapist and sitting at the table - Michael C. Hall did a great job, especially with him sitting at the table holding hands, and he though "people do this?...." I hate to do it, but I have to nit-pick some of the story lines. 1) It took Dexter way too long to figure out Arthur's past and motivation. Supposedly he had been trailing this guy and digging up dirt on him (he already checked all the criminal and DNA databases before Masuka did), but he never ran across the small fact that his sister, dad and mom were all killed? Never popped up on his radar, until he decided to do a search for "survived by Arthur Miller"? (forgot his last name)2) It feels like bullshit how much the rest of the detectives are dismissing Lundy's and Deb's suspicions about Trinity, to the point where they apparently don't even think the guy exists, much less that he is in Miami. Especially after the bludgeoning case, nobody is willing to look back at the pattern and admit Lundy may have been on to something? Furthermore, if 2 cops are shot outside a hotel at 5AM, they would never chalk that up to "random chance" like they are with the Vacation Killer. They're doing a poor job of investigating that. Anyway... I feel like Dexter might be getting too close to Trinity. He's not giving Trinity enough credit to see through the Kyle facade. Wouldn't surprise me if Trinity starts researching Dexter, and the shit will hit the fan when he figure out Dexter is a cop
11/3/2009 12:42:41 AM
I love the mental commentary Dexter has. When he's with Rita, when he's with his sister....it's hilarious!
11/3/2009 9:10:05 AM
I would be very disappointed with Trinity if he hadn't already figured out Dexter's game, especially if he knew how close Deb was to Lundy. Also very suspicious that he gives Dexter the hammer.
11/3/2009 1:04:32 PM
is everybody still watching?I'm intrigued by this season, but it's different than the past season Dexter's as there's less episode-by-episode drama and suspense and more of a gradual build-up until the eventual Dexter-Trinity show down.I'm not complaining, I think this season is great although I wish it had more Masuka.
11/12/2009 10:14:38 PM
yeah, still watching. Wondering how far Quinn is prepared to follow Dexter. also, overall... is it just me, or are they pulling a lot of dramatic, soap-opera type stuff this season - and not just in the love-story plotlines nobody cares about like Angel the Lt. But it seems like there is a ton of soft-focus, soft-lighting scenes (and not just because Dexter's dad keeps showing up), overly dramatically acted dialogue scenes, Dexter's monologues that are too heavy-handed, etc. I don't recall if previous seasons were like this or not.
11/12/2009 11:54:20 PM
what a great episode! just when you think it can't get better - it does! i love the story of Rita and the next-door neighbor. i love the fact that Trinity confessed (sorta) to Dexter and that they've become best buddies in Trinity's eyes. and i love that Deb figured out Trinity didn't shoot her. i have a theory on that - perhaps it's the reporter girlfriend, shooting an FBI agent to get some press? ]
11/16/2009 10:32:53 AM
^ no doubt about the reporter
11/16/2009 10:59:33 AM
i hope so, i really want dexter to kill her
11/18/2009 9:04:20 AM
something's going to go down with Quinn too, after Masuka told him about Dexter and Lila
11/18/2009 9:37:51 AM
i'm hoping that the girlfriend reporter actually gets Quinn in trouble and they write his character off. i really don't like him
11/18/2009 9:40:08 AM
11/18/2009 1:21:22 PM
thought this past episode wasn't too good, still enjoying the season though.Anton was always my first bet at who shot them.
11/18/2009 2:21:14 PM
If the killer was Masuka's height, it was probably a woman. My first thought was HOLY SHIT WHAT IF RITA IS A KILLER TOO? but that's just ridiculous. I do think something's up with her - she's gonna get it aaaawn with that neighbor or something.
11/18/2009 4:47:50 PM
^Yea, I definitely think that is where they are going with Rita. I'm really liking this season so far
11/18/2009 6:44:35 PM
does anyone else wonder WHY deb moved into dex's apartment? seems too convenient. i think he's going to end up back there somehow. a wild theory of mine is that deb ends up finding out about dexter when he kills whoever shot her (i like the reporter theory and hate that bitch) and has issues with it but eventually accepts him and helps him with his cover at work and with rita. anyone with me on that?
11/18/2009 7:08:36 PM
because she needed a new place to live and Dexter had to get rid of the place, i don't see whats suspicious about that
11/18/2009 7:10:07 PM
yeah, of all the things that are "convenient" on this show, Deb moving into Dexter's old apartment, which Rita and Deb just found out about soon after Deb was shot and moved out of Anton's place, isn't too high on the improbability list. If something is "too convenient" in the last episode, how about the eye-roller of an ending where two dozen eager Christian-builders show up magically on the roof to help pull Arthur back up, where seconds earlier, the ever-so-careful Dexter was planning on killing him.
11/19/2009 1:57:59 AM
^ yeah i just watched it last night, and I thought the exact same thing. Also, it seemed WAY later in the morning based on the amount of sunlight when they arrived versus when dexter first sneaks up on trinity. As for the apartment thing, I remember deb begging dexter to let her have it when he first got engaged. Of all of the small hole in the series plot, this is pretty airtight.
