how difficult would it be to drill through my trunk in order to install a hitch? and lowering a muffler? what about wiring the brake lights and turn signals to work on the trailer?

I would just take it to u-haul and have them put one on if you're not comfortable doing it yourself.[Edited on September 8, 2009 at 11:24 AM. Reason : .]

^^ i HAVE a friend with a truck (well, it's my dad's old '91 suburban 2500), but i can't get the scooter up into the suburban by myself and i don't have anyone who will be able to take a day off work to drive down to wilmington with me to pick it up^ that's a good idea (i didn't know they actually did that stuff)...called and hitch plus installation is $182.45 after tax, which is really good (the site listed on the first page gave me hitches at about $150, no installation)...they want another $80 for wiring, but i suspect i can do that myself

Wiring has been insanely easy on all the newer cars I've worked on, but I've never done a Saturn. Just get the wiring kit for your car and it'll connect into the tail lights like a little t-intersection unless Saturns are wonkey. Unplug connector at taillight, plug into harness, plug harness into taillight...Do the other side, stuff under trunk mat; done.[Edited on September 8, 2009 at 1:14 PM. Reason : s]
