I knew Robert was going down when I saw that bycycle they had to ride, I feel bad for him though, thats kind of an unfair challenge, especially when they know he has heart conditions.

I really wish they would have assembled a less retarded band of cooks for this season. Rather than seeing dumb vs dumber, I would like to see talented vs more talented. This is my first season of Hell's Kitchen though, so I'm not sure if this is the way it always had been.I mean, the original season 6 lineup included a line cook from a diner. wtf I dont eat very exotic meals, and its nice to live vicariously through these shows, but they cant even get through to cook a meal this season.
9/15/2009 1:54:35 PM
Its generally always been this way, however most of the time, dinner services are successful for the most part at this point in the show.I too would like to see actual executive chefs compete for a chance to run a prestigious resturaunt. That kind of show however, would not be filled with as much drama and disaster, things that every tv show producer dreams of...

I dont see how any of these folks could be up to running a restaurant at Whistler. [Edited on September 15, 2009 at 2:25 PM. Reason : adfa]

The one guy, Scott I think his name is, the bald one with 2 sprained ankles, would be good for the job, he is an actual executive chef and is probably one of the few contestants qualified to run a resturaunt, there is a lot of behind the scenes administrative things that go on, its not just make a menu, and then cook it...

No new episode tonight due to the 2-hour More to Love season finale. That sucks, but next week's Hell's Kitchen is 2-hours long
9/15/2009 5:12:11 PM
That irritates me, Chef Ramsey >>> More to Love
9/15/2009 8:00:43 PM
9/15/2009 10:32:38 PM
fuck the fatchelor for having a 2 hour show tonight.
9/15/2009 11:41:37 PM
I love watching Gordon Ramsays The F Word on the BBC channel. He shows you how to prepare the dishes they are cooking.
9/16/2009 10:00:36 AM
They should bring Kitchen Nightmares back to the US - I thought that was an interesting show
9/16/2009 10:42:19 PM
I loved Kitchen Nightmares, you can watch I think 3 season? on Hulu, hopefully they release another season
9/17/2009 8:22:06 AM
These people really suck - but they did much better with Ramsey out of the kitchen.
9/22/2009 9:43:53 PM

I dont like the bald guy. I am rooting for the injured one
9/26/2009 2:22:06 PM
9/26/2009 6:55:37 PM
Yea I really see Kevin winning thisAnd I remember the earlier Kitchen Nightmare episodes on Fox were more like the BBC versions, they maybe got them a new stove or something critical to their success, but mainly worked with the food, staff, and atmosphere.
9/28/2009 8:50:01 AM
Dave!
10/13/2009 9:56:23 PM
Woohoo!
10/13/2009 10:25:51 PM
Good for him, he worked his ass off throughout the entire show, and did it with one fully functional arm...!
10/14/2009 8:42:28 AM
Underdog wins! Gotta love that.
10/14/2009 8:57:35 AM
^x5 I thought that, too. But Dave pulled it off.I think Dave just knows how to cook food that tastes good. Amazingly, it seems like some of the chefs forget that basic thing sometimes.[Edited on October 14, 2009 at 9:00 AM. Reason : ^]
10/14/2009 8:59:42 AM
dave wasn't really an underdogi can only remember one or two challenges where dave was worse than kevinand in the kitchen dave never fucked up
10/14/2009 9:13:37 AM
His injury made him an underdog, by default. Without the injury, he would have been better than Kevin, I'd imagine. The thing about Dave is that he's humble and doesn't complain. He simply follows orders and gains strength from within, like Tinnelle(sp). He'd be a good soldier too, I'd wager.
10/14/2009 10:12:42 AM
I think Chef Ramsey also looks for the chef who has grown the most, Kevin came in already an executive chef and was pretty consistant throughout the entire show, he make a few mistakes, but nothing compared to the others. I personally think Kevin would have been the better person for the job, but I think in terms of individual growth and progress, especially with the problems he faced, is why Dave won.
10/14/2009 10:53:01 AM
First time I can recall in Hells Kitchen where the person that won was the person I wanted to win.`
10/14/2009 10:57:31 AM
Kevin is an amazing chef, but he didn't deserve to win as much as Dave did. In that, Kevin just coasted through the competition more or less. Kevin is the type of Chef that can get a job anywhere, Dave is the type of Chef that really needed to win the competition, because he's more atypical in appearance and demeanor.[Edited on October 14, 2009 at 11:15 AM. Yeah, Dave may have been a bit of an underdog, but its not like he was starting from scratch either. From his bio at least, he was already an executive chef before winning Hell's Kitchen. Also agree that Kevin is the type of chef who could probably do fine even without winning the show.
10/14/2009 11:25:04 AM
I was happy to see Dave win but really thought Kevin was a brilliant chef as well. I was pretty sure Dave would win but then Chef Ramsey would step in and offer Kevin a job at one of his restaurants (sort of like the end of season 1). The way he handled his kitchen in the finale after so many set backs to catch up with Dave was impressive. Even though he lost Hell's Kitchen, I see Kevin getting a job as the executive chef at the restaurant of his choice.
10/14/2009 11:00:02 PM
I hope they bring it back for season 7
10/14/2009 11:02:31 PM
Glad Dave won, liked him from the beginning
