This was our photographer, Tina Loebach.http://loebachstudios.com/index2.php?v=v1We meet her at a bridal show at the fairgrounds. Her prices were affordable (we were on a 10k budget) and we liked her photographs.Throughout the whole process of planning the photography, she was great and easy to work with. At our wedding, she was laid back and fun and we got some great shots. Overall, we were very pleased with her work and I would recommend her to anyone.BTW, if you see any of the photos on her site that look like the JC arboretum or with butterflies, thats from our wedding.

10k for a wedding photographer?
7/7/2009 10:42:14 AM
I hope you mean 10k wedding budget
7/7/2009 10:42:58 AM
i think 10k was for total wedding...
7/7/2009 10:43:19 AM
my daddy gave me $10k for my wedding.we promptly spent close to $25k after booze
7/7/2009 10:45:47 AM
jesus. i'd rather spend all that money on a baller honeymoon than on a wedding.
7/7/2009 10:46:34 AM
looking back, i wish i had. i was just on auto-pilot at one point and it was like, i don't care how much it costs, i want a beautiful wedding!!!!!and it took a year to pay off the wedding debt, making me realize how much i wish we'd taken the $10k and flown a few friends and family out to Vegas for a few days
7/7/2009 10:47:38 AM
i'd rather put a nice fat down payment on a house
7/7/2009 10:47:44 AM
....we already had a house.$3k of that figure was our baller honeymoon in Cancun for a week. but still, way too much cashola. weddings are totally overrated. i don't even remember half the night cuz it went by so fast and there were so many people to talk to. srsly, take my advice brides-to-be, don't go for the lavish event bc it'll be over before you know it!
7/7/2009 10:49:48 AM
if i do it all over again antigua looks like a nice trip
7/7/2009 10:50:35 AM
i'm taking my ass on an african safari or something.
7/7/2009 10:51:36 AM
you don't need to get married to go to antigua...or on an african safari ]
7/7/2009 10:51:41 AM
i dont, but i'm not going solo mio
7/7/2009 10:52:06 AM
7/7/2009 10:53:06 AM
haha of course not homey
7/7/2009 10:53:23 AM
I'm gettin' murried on Fripp Island, SC . we are gong to rent two huge beach houses on the ocean to house family/friends. It's gonna be on the beach with a grill on the deck and music. No catering k thx. Then we will stay for the rest of the week and family can either stay or go, the more the merrier! Because of the houses I think it will be close to 10k. Also, I will spend money on a good photographer if I don't have a close friend I can trust in the business by that point.
7/7/2009 10:55:26 AM
10k was our total wedding budget.and if you think that is a lot of money, consider the average wedding in the triangle is 20k. And if you knew anything about how much companies upcharge anything (deejay, flowers, etc.) as soon as you say "wedding", you'd think 10k is a bargain.
7/7/2009 10:59:51 AM
^that was my argument with my dad. i told him 10k was enough for a venue and catering, and that's about it. he wouldn't budge. which is why we took on so much debt.of course in retrospect, like i said...i shoulda taken the 10k and gone to vegas.
7/7/2009 11:01:33 AM
haha i thought you meant just the photographer was 10k and i was all wowie
7/7/2009 11:01:48 AM
that'd be one hell of a photo package
7/7/2009 11:03:55 AM
it would include an intimate session with the photographer on your wedding night.ya know, for the more candid shots.
7/7/2009 11:04:29 AM
$2k for the wedding on the beach, everything included. And it was good. Sure it would have been fun to have a deejay and a big after party. But I think we're enjoying the new lexus more To each their own. I sure as hell hope that your wedding day is the BEST day in your ENTIRE life if you are spending $texas on it. $20k on a wedding? I wish I made enough bank to justify that.
7/7/2009 11:06:35 AM

don't get me wrong, mine was great! but for the amount of money we spent, it really made me wish after the fact that i'd done it differently.

7/7/2009 6:00:23 PM
Yeah why did the photographer decide to make the yellow stripes stand out out of everything in that pic? Very distracting.............. And Ronny instead of tearing this thread to shit why don't you make a few recommendations?
7/7/2009 6:04:21 PM
this thread has already been torn to shit.
7/7/2009 6:05:06 PM

7/22/2009 6:56:20 AM
never understood the fascination with selective color but some people just seem to looooooooove it. the first wedding i shoot will be entirely tilt shift and selective color
7/22/2009 9:16:27 AM
^ hahaha I would be so pissed if my photographer did that.
