Also, Naan and Beyond (http://www.naan-and-beyond.com/) on L Street between Connecticut and 17th, but I'm not sure if it's open on weekends or at night. I've only ever been for lunch during the week.

I've also enjoyed District of Pi (http://www.pi-dc.com/) at 9th and F. They specialize in deep-dish pizza, and I actually liked it a lot more than the deep-dish pizza I had in Chicago.

My girlfriend and I went last labor day weekend...

Pearl dive oyster bar was a place we stumbled upon. I didn't eat any raw oysters there, but they had some great baked oyster plates... I had the redfish, and it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten (not inclusive of sushi).
