mmm this thread makes me yearn for home. although i didn't go to neomonde's a lot while at state, i always enjoyed when i went. mujadara, lentils and rice, is something my american mom learned how to make (and is a staple for her).

my in-laws are pretty goods pals with the brother that owns Sassool's which is our preferred location in north raleigh anyway. but i guess it's not surprising to hear of any man in power acting like this (and preying on undocumented teenagers). The downtown durham Neomonde's absolutely sucks too btw.
