if Berry does something that helps his team, but then a quarter later, his QB throws an INT to lose the game (see the SEC championship game against LSU), that doesnt lessen what he did... if it did, then "great" players would be decided by luck and what their teammates did.[Edited on April 4, 2009 at 9:57 PM. in the spirit of PTI...Question 1: "What are the chances Russell Wilson leads the ACC in QB rating?"Question 2: "What are the chances Russell Wilson wins ACC POY again?"Question 3: "What are the chances NC State wins the ACC Atlantic?"Question 4: "What are the chances NC State wins the ACC Championship?"Question 5: "What are the chances Russell Wilson is a candidate for the Heisman Trophy?"my thoughts:1) 66% 2) 45%3) 25%4) 14%5) 1%

Nationalchamps.net released their preseason 2009 Heisman list...here's what they came up with.
5/5/2009 10:43:09 AM
5/5/2009 10:44:24 AM
They have the top 3 right, but Darryl Clark and ESPECIALLY Pryor should be higher on that list.
5/5/2009 10:57:16 AM
I think DeMarco Murray should be higher
5/5/2009 12:22:24 PM
5/5/2009 12:24:36 PM
Can they just officially change it to best the best offensive player? Top 25 and not a single fucking defensive player to be found. Surely, there is at least 1 defensive player out there they could put ahead of Nevadas and directional Michigans QBs?
5/5/2009 12:29:49 PM
Eric Berry should be somewhere on that list... the woodson fluke could potentially happen, and to not even place him in the top 25 is garbage.
5/5/2009 12:59:50 PM
Tebow, Bradford, Mccoy, PryorYour Heisman WILL come out of those 4

my apologies...yes it was ROY, i didnt mean to end with the word "again". obviously you cant win the ROY more than once
5/6/2009 12:01:03 PM
Dwyer tore shit up last year
5/6/2009 12:48:11 PM
he also gets the ball like 35 times a game. its insane.and i dont care how many yards he racks up, we saw what happened when GT tries to run that offense against a mediocre SEC team (lsu in the chick-fil-a bowl). absolute murder. it just doesnt fly.plus, how the heck will they recruit QB's and WR's with that offense?
5/6/2009 2:34:15 PM
^I will agree that recruiting WR at GT may become an issue, but here are still plenty of high schools in the country that run the triple option. A lot of good QB's get overlooked for that reason, so it may not be as big of an issue as one would initially think.
5/6/2009 3:12:32 PM
Jahvid Best definitely deserves to be on this list.

Clemson has launched their "Spiller for Heisman" campaign. If nothing else, at least I will get a massive 6ft poster of the guy and measure my growth/stagnancy against the ruler along the side.nevermind i'm 6'2.http://clemsontigers.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/072009aaa.htmlGo Go Gadget CJ![Edited on July 21, 2009 at 3:59 PM. Just got an email from Coach Lane Kiffin, haha. Apparently Tennessee will be putting resources into making a campaign for Eric Berry: http://berry4heisman.com/
7/21/2009 4:12:00 PM
I got one too!! how does he have time to coach and recruit while sending out all these emails?
7/21/2009 7:41:31 PM
isn't not having obnoxious noises playing when the site is opened a basic rule of website design?
7/21/2009 7:44:50 PM
what? I cant hear you... all I can hear is ERIC BERRY! clap clap, clap clap clap
7/21/2009 8:02:14 PM
whats your point in comparing eric berry and woodson?
7/21/2009 8:50:01 PM
^that earns a lol
7/21/2009 8:58:15 PM
ok
7/21/2009 9:04:24 PM
i bet Armanti Edwards wins it.
7/21/2009 9:06:15 PM
I actually really do hate that the Heisman has come to shit like this, really annoying... fan sites are cool, shirts, whatever, but for the schools to actively promote and shit just doesnt sit right... we have already had one case of the overhyped person winning over the deserved person (thanks ESPN/ABC)
7/21/2009 11:57:39 PM
^ one case?!?the heisman has been a joke way before peyton didn't win it
7/22/2009 12:01:29 AM
just ignore him
7/22/2009 12:08:52 AM
^^ oh, you were thinking of Peyton... good one.. I hadnt considered that, but it definitely fits...and I didnt say that was the first case....
7/22/2009 1:08:25 AM
Kiffin for President
7/22/2009 1:23:20 AM
Russell Wilson for the Heisman in 2009-10!!
7/22/2009 2:33:16 AM
the real question with Eric Berry is, is he wearing colored contacts or are his eyes naturally creepstastic.im ready to beat UT in the dome, and then chant ACC! ACC! ACC! ACC! and nnnnn ccccccc sssstatee ncstate!
7/22/2009 8:27:02 AM
so sexy
7/22/2009 9:13:03 AM
^ so gay. Fuck OSU. Pryor's Heisman contention will be over a few minutes after USC wins in the horseshoe.
7/22/2009 11:38:23 AM
I'd love for it to come down to Wilson and Pryor. #2 is a fuckin freak of an athlete.
7/22/2009 12:15:21 PM
Robert Griffin is better.
7/23/2009 6:17:19 PM
For it to not come out of the Bradford/McCoy/Tebow trio would be shocking to me. For all 3 to be back in college football.. 2 with heismans already.. should be great for the sport and a lot of fun to watch all season. I'm not a huge fan of him but I think Tebow wins it and just has a monster year putting up some crazy offensive numbers both passing and rushing.
7/23/2009 6:48:25 PM
7/24/2009 9:19:08 AM
I'll go out on a limb here and say that Spiller has no chance at winning the heisman
7/24/2009 9:23:24 AM
i'll go out on a limb here and say that you are correct.but im going to rally behind him thats for damn sure. hes the best RB ive ever seen play in the ACC.
7/24/2009 9:30:55 AM
too bad he plays for clempson. Not even spiller can stop the choke.
7/24/2009 10:03:11 AM
7/24/2009 10:15:13 AM
Warrick Dunn is clearly the answer to the statement 3 up.
7/24/2009 10:37:15 AM
thats the only guy that i thought of that would be close, but i think CJ is way more electric than warrick dunn was
