I found my Maggie bird dead at the bottom of her cage about an hour ago . . I have been home sick with a fever and had her covered up because she chirps loud sometimes. I knew something was wrong when she didn't answer me when I came in to uncover her, she talks all the time, it was too quiet. Now the only sound in here is the radio I have on for her during the day I've had her since I was 11 years old

I will be burying her tomorrow next to my kitty that passed away last year (I got them roughly at the same time).
I really hope I can break the habit of talking to her when I open the door to go into the room and there's just an empty cage ugh. It is heartbreaking.

we had to put a family pet down last night

RIP T.C. you were damn good cat for almost 20 years ... you were the runt of the litter and turned out to be a bad ass.

I know it's tough to lose a pet. But it's obvious that they led a happy life with you!
