purdue is trying to fuck me[Edited on March 19, 2009 at 4:28 PM. Reason : just kidding]
dont have purdue getting past next round so i dont really care about this one
3/19/2009 4:30:30 PM
3/19/2009 4:31:27 PM
thanks Purdue, my elite 8 is still intact.
3/19/2009 4:32:09 PM
well, at least all my sweet 16 teams are still alive
3/19/2009 4:32:59 PM
winning conference games doesnt count in the pac 10 when ucla is shit
3/19/2009 4:33:26 PM
3/19/2009 4:33:51 PM
3/19/2009 4:34:33 PM
RPI is stupid
3/19/2009 4:35:10 PM
^^oh I forgot Saint Mary's beat some good teams, oh wait they didnt...they lost to the only ranked team they played 3 times (Gonzaga). Arizona beat Washington, UCLA, Kansas and Gonzaga...get out of here with that shit.oh and Ernie you might be right about the dude from Radford, I just based my statement on one of the announcers on FS Arizona, so I'm not terribly confident either way. there's also no way that Zona (or any bubble team) should get in losing 5 of their last 6 games.
3/19/2009 4:38:02 PM
Four of those losses were to tournament teams and Arizona's best player was injured, way to change your argument when your first one was refuted[Edited on March 19, 2009 at 4:42 PM. Reason : .]
3/19/2009 4:39:55 PM
Four of which were to tourney teams, all were closeSt. Mary's didn't play four tourney teams all year, lost all three games to Gonzaga, including a raping in the WCC tourney
3/19/2009 4:40:18 PM
* lost twice to Gonzaga without Patty Mills
3/19/2009 4:41:08 PM
^^^ Zane Johnson wasn't injured[Edited on March 19, 2009 at 4:42 PM. Reason : c]
3/19/2009 4:42:18 PM
3/19/2009 4:42:49 PM
Mills was hurt in the game at Gonzaga right? He played most of that game, I thought. Either way, SMC did better against Gonzaga without him.
3/19/2009 4:43:31 PM
3/19/2009 4:44:29 PM
but...most of UofA's losses were "bad losses"those are RPI boosters
3/19/2009 4:45:42 PM
3/19/2009 4:45:43 PM
Oh well, best of luck in the NIT, Gaels
3/19/2009 4:47:04 PM
The committee cares a lot more about teams that have shown they can play other tourney bound teams and win rather than their last 6 games or whatever.

3/19/2009 5:08:26 PM
3/19/2009 5:11:52 PM
3/19/2009 5:18:00 PM
It was in Phoenix
3/19/2009 5:18:19 PM
so it wasn't a home game, maybe not neutral in purest sense of the word, but it wasn't at home and it wasn't at Gonzaga
3/19/2009 5:19:44 PM
They call those semi-home games
3/19/2009 5:21:47 PM
^[Edited on March 19, 2009 at 5:22 PM. Reason : beat me to it]
3/19/2009 5:21:51 PM
fair enough, but I'm still not seeing a convincing argument for Saint Mary's over Arizona...like I said other bubble teams might have a case but not Saint Mary's
3/19/2009 5:28:43 PM
so far so good, but i have washington in the final 4 so they need to hang tough
3/19/2009 5:50:10 PM
3/19/2009 5:53:53 PM
^^I like Washington also, but I have them losing to Mizzou in the Elite Eight, hopefully they can pull it off against UCONN^yes you fucking did man, here's the quote earlier on this page:
3/19/2009 5:53:59 PM
I don't fill one out, I just watch and cheer for my favorite teams and the underdog.
3/19/2009 6:18:43 PM
3/19/2009 6:21:26 PM
3/19/2009 6:26:44 PM
maybe not but look at what uconn did, albeit against a 16 seed
3/19/2009 6:33:15 PM
3/19/2009 6:33:31 PM
^Overton is also playing really well for the Huskies
3/19/2009 7:05:58 PM
3/19/2009 7:09:40 PM
getting back to the thread topici realized i picked michigan, alsomy bracket might go bye bye bye soon well not really because its not like i had any of these teams going far, so hopefully my "big" teams will stay correct.
3/19/2009 7:15:21 PM
I took Clemson, based in part on my hatred for Michigan. I'm of the thought process of conference first, but I just don't think Michigan has the talent to hang w/Clemson
3/19/2009 7:16:53 PM
3/19/2009 7:20:23 PM
3/19/2009 7:22:18 PM
I took Clemson, I think they'll winthe other 7/10 i wasn't so sure abouti picked texas, but tubbie smith has done good things at minnesota
3/19/2009 7:23:38 PM
i picked texas and michigan. i picked michigan based on ^^ the ol' standby clemson tradition of choking big this time of year. i dunno. def a risk. texas was looking iffy at first (still close). but a lot of time in both games. i just love watching game after game after game. and my bracket isn't for money so it doesn't matter, i just like being right i think it would be boring to just pick all the high seeds though. i'm sure those people fair better, but where's the fun in that?!
3/19/2009 7:58:42 PM
so, american.. stop winning...[Edited on March 19, 2009 at 8:02 PM. Reason : you too meeechigan]
3/19/2009 8:02:00 PM
I picked Michigan too... even though I think Clemson has the far superior talent. Bielien (sp?) is a MUCH, MUCH better in-game coach than Purnell... and it's Clemson...
3/19/2009 8:04:57 PM
Come on Nova and Clemson. Don't you guys screw my so far perfect bracket!
