i find it funny that people of the previous generation always talk about how lost the new generation is given that the previous generation is the one who guided and thought the newer generation their values and morals. If there is a problem, then its them who caused the problem so complaining about the actions of the newer generation would do a lot less good than some deep internal reflection.

WHY? Would a "Bomb or TERRORISM" just be BAD TIMING RIGHT NOW FOR YOU GUYS? NOT WORTH THINKING ABOUT? SILLY, even?

I suppose the FRENCH/OBAMA LOVEFEST PART II would have nothing to do with it, right?

Some places, you could safely assume this is sarcasm:
Quote :
"God help us all....It rained so hard yesterday, and Obama is President....Looks like the the world is coming to an end...I warned you people who elected this guy that this would happen, rain in June and it has come true...Well, it looks like the chickens are coming home to roost....We are all doomed....."

But GOLO is not one of them.

I love it.

""This was God, working His modern-day miracles, by enabling Mr. Gerrell to save Mr. Borton's life. Awesome!"

LOL - No, this was Mr. Gerrell staying calm in and emergency and doing what he was trained to do in the 70's. Why must people try to attribute supernatural cause to things with perfectly natural explanation?"

on a related note, i was watching espn and Stafon Johnson, a tailback for USC, droped ~275 lb bar w/ weights on his neck, i assum while benching and had to be sent to the hospital.

His mom was either working or at the same hospital that he was brought to after the accident. She was all...It was gods work that he was brought to the same hospital i was at after his injury...

was it also gods work that put that bar on his neck?

or did god just start paying attention after the bar fell on his neck and whisped him away to the same hospital his mom was at?

I know this is 8 months late, but I agree with the sentiment here:

Quote :
""I'm not at all surprised at the 40% bass tard births. I've been saying for years that society has lost all sense of morals because of the lack of television censorship and parental indifference to their childrens behavior. Nobody wants to take the time to teach children values and morals anymore. There's nothing on television anymore except teenagers (and adults) having sex with anybody and everybody. Disgusting.""

The bolded part is so true. Parents don't raise their kids anymore. They leave them to friends, society, TV, and videogames. And look at today's programmes (Gossip Girl, Grey's anatomy, etc), it is just bunch of people having sex with each other all the time, changing partners within the group every month or so.

i agree with the story and the sentiment reflected

and no it as nothing to do with fuckin people wanting to go back to slave days and times before womens suffrage

thats a fuckin stupid thing to say, i feel morals and valuing human privacy and true tolerance of ALL perceptions and viewpoints are pretty much down the shitter

its only tolerant thought if its progreesive thought, it doesnt count as intolerance if you are dissing rednecks or conservative ideals

the media is too nosy and disingenuous, doesnt have much interest in the news but in sensationalism

I don't know that we necessarily needed an amphitheater, but Raleigh did need a concert venue that was between 5-8000 seats that wasn't also a dedicated theater. There are a ton of mid-tier bands that skip this area simply because there was nowhere for them to play. Disco Rodeo/Lincoln/Cradle/etc. were too small, DPAC/Memorial were too "nice", Koka Booth does not allow many types of bands due to noise, etc. and the Creek/RBC are too big.

I'd be glad to entertain your support of religious belief, assuming it isn't riddled with logical fallacies.
