NCSU after going 9-0 at clemson in football was about as close as you could get to storming after an away gamedidnt some people try to got to C-F to take the goal posts?
1/29/2009 4:56:39 PM
bttt, the irony here is hilarious
2/17/2009 7:19:47 PM
why?is this in relation to when we (an unranked team) beat WF (a top 10 team) and rushed the court?b/c that is totally the same thingif there is another reason i'm missing, let me know...
2/17/2009 7:40:19 PM
how dare you question the great sports talk god
2/17/2009 7:47:52 PM
i actually like rally and think he generally has good takes, just not sure where he is coming from here
2/17/2009 9:00:54 PM
same here....maybe he doesn't know what irony means? It would be ironic if Wake sucked and was unranked later in the season and if we were ranked top 10 and then stormed the court....
2/18/2009 11:15:20 AM
I think he's referring to the fact that he's pretty sure we would have rushed the court in the same situation. And I think he's right...unfortunately.
2/18/2009 11:18:46 AM
people make too big a deal about you shouldn't rush the court. If the excitement is there for your team, why diminish it?People say "act like you've been there" but most teams haven't (like us, at least in this lifetime). Not to mention at some point you would become like UNC with that attitude, where they have lots of fans but they aren't the passionate fans that other schools have, partially because they are too arrogant to rush the court
2/18/2009 11:25:10 AM
2/18/2009 12:01:08 PM
^ ya and you were prob going for clemson
2/18/2009 12:34:11 PM
^^ That TA run was great. The Manny Lawson punt block and our whole special teams unit racing down the sideline with Terrance sticks out from that game too.
2/18/2009 12:39:25 PM
2/18/2009 12:42:49 PM
^^ you can't forget jericho running the onside kick back for a TD either[Edited on February 18, 2009 at 1:54 PM. Reason : jericho]
2/18/2009 1:51:44 PM
^^ Yeah that was fun, we took over Hillsborough St. too
2/18/2009 1:58:08 PM
2/18/2009 2:32:07 PM
explain why to me you post on NCSU website?just once more, i am still trying to figure it out
2/18/2009 2:42:29 PM
dude i grew up clemson born and raised, and that game when i was in high school. i got accepted to clemson and state, and chose state to double major.die hard state. come on brah![Edited on February 18, 2009 at 3:18 PM. Reason : .]
2/18/2009 2:54:33 PM
if you liked clemson so much then you should have gone there, and perhaps log on to their message board. I live 15mins from clemson by the way, everyone who is a fan never even went to the school! sound like UNC? ya, it is
2/18/2009 3:03:49 PM
you are seriously one of the lamest users on this board
2/18/2009 3:05:22 PM
i dont know what your point is, cuz all i said was that i was at the game and yes i cheered for clemson.shoot me.i'm gonna go join dweedle in the "Holding Cell for Die Hard State Fans That Have Another Team They Root For So Kill Us" threadand i DO post on thetigernet and my user name is ncsutiger86, so hang me. and as much as i love clemson, NCSU engineering is worlds better and half the cost (in-state) [Edited on February 18, 2009 at 3:12 PM. Reason : go eat dicks]
2/18/2009 3:11:11 PM
join dweedle because you guys are sadand thegoodlife3, haha who are you to talk about lame?
2/18/2009 4:16:21 PM
charlotte just stormed the court after beating #17 xavierit's cute
2/19/2009 9:03:24 PM
Haha, as much as I hate knocking the court rush....ASU's rushing the court with the win over Arizona was a bit much fucking retarded (not to mention the terrible execution, dumbasses took like 10 minutes to get down there).[Edited on February 23, 2009 at 12:00 AM. Reason : thats better]
2/23/2009 12:00:05 AM
Well to be fair they haven't had much experience rushing the court before.I mean if we swept UNC, we would most def rush.
2/23/2009 12:03:01 AM
2/23/2009 12:10:22 AM
clearly that's worth calling him an idiot over.
2/23/2009 12:20:15 AM
Dude, he was accosting a guy from Clemson for rooting for Clemson before he came to State. And then he made a truly idiotic assertion that Clemson was like Chapel Hill.Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Auburn...folks should know who our brothers are.
2/23/2009 12:46:27 AM
2/23/2009 12:53:09 AM
^you're an idiot
2/23/2009 1:00:04 AM
AHA, it didn't really feel right when I typed idiot. I debated it.I'm glad I can trust simonn to keep me on the right track.

TWW's got my back for the first time evar!
2/23/2009 8:09:51 AM
If you lived 15 minutes from Clemson and didn't go to college, is there anything else to do there but become a Clemson fan?
2/23/2009 8:14:24 AM
clemson & ncstate not only share extremely similar academics, but also the same athletic frustrations. it seems like everytime ncstate blows a game, clemson will follow suit (and visa versa). i do not know why, its just been that way for years now.
2/23/2009 8:24:52 AM
none of you live around here ( from the sound of it) and even in Columbia sc there are more Clemson fans than USC.On a smaller scale (within the state of sc) Clemson is like UNC, no one goes to the fucking school and everyone likes them. They are at every Wal-Mart, and every one wears their shit. i laugh at other people that would say this isn't true.
2/23/2009 8:44:12 AM
I live in Greenville, SC which is like 30 miles from clemson if you dont believe I live close. So no, I dont live 15 mins from there but I do live "around" there. I just don't see the support being that abnormal when compared to areas surrounding other major colleges.V this.[Edited on February 23, 2009 at 8:54 AM. Reason : ]
2/23/2009 8:51:22 AM
i grew up in sc, and i dont agree with clemson being anywhere comparable to unc. of course theres going to clemson stuff in walmarts in sc...its a major state school.
2/23/2009 8:53:14 AM
Honea Path, Anderson, Greenwood, Piedmont, Seneca, these places are more comparable than greenville. If you lived in Greenville you would also know that there are a lot of people from outside of SC that live there that like other schools because they are alums from all around. The entire area however is filled with rednecks that have clemson everything that have never even been to a game
2/23/2009 8:58:17 AM
I was half expecting there to be a Really Maryland fans? thread this past weekend. The whole "act like you've been there" rant - since they have, and much more recently than we have.Maybe there was a thread and I just missed it.
2/23/2009 9:00:33 AM
2/23/2009 11:37:37 AM
^BSi was in Hartsville last weekend, we went to the mall in Florence and every fucker I saw there was a clemson fan. Dude it is not even close, this is the mall that has a dicks and a best buy in the mall. USC fans and clemson fans are both trashy and redneck, there is no worse fan between them.
2/23/2009 11:47:33 AM
I tend to agree with ^^ more than ^But its going to be hard to argue with you since you live 15 mins from Clemson so OBVIOUSLY you are going to be immersed in Clemson stuff. And I guess I dont understand what the deal is, I immediately notice I am in Raleigh every weekend I go back there because of the bumper stickers, magnets, shirts, hats etc. stuff everywhere. And Raleigh is in a much bigger city/area than directly around Clemson and its still densely populated with State stuff. Why do you expect to not see Clemson stuff living around there? And why would you not expect to see more Clemson stuff than USC stuff for the same reason?[Edited on February 23, 2009 at 12:02 PM. Reason : ]
2/23/2009 11:55:50 AM
^^ ur a clueless moron, so its not even worth discussing, but i'll say a few more things before turning my head away from you.In the state of South Carolina (its below North Carolina) there are two schools with high major football programs. One is the Clemson Tigers, and the other is University of South Carolina Gamecocks.because they are the only two schools, and if you are from the state, you pick one or the other. Where I am from, a city called Charleston, SC, it is predominately South Carolina fans. Why? I don't know, it just happens. It is a fierce rivalry and you pick one side or the other and you are a fan for life. You love or hate one team, and that's just how it is. However, once you get outside of South Carolina, you don't find anywhere near the same amount of athletic interest/bandwagoneering in either school as compared to the University of North Carolina (nicknamed the "Tarheels"). The difference in class between Clemson and USC is light and dark. There's a huge difference, and thats all i'll say ab that.[Edited on February 23, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Reason : .]
2/23/2009 11:59:54 AM
2/23/2009 11:59:58 AM
agreed^ on that too. I am in Columbia a good bit (one of the few decent music venues in SC is there) and it is verrry heavily USC over Clemson there (as expected)
2/23/2009 12:04:27 PM
let us not forget coastal carolina and south carolina state
2/23/2009 12:08:55 PM
haha I went down to coastal a few times for UNC-Charlotte soccer games growing up (was a huge uncc soccer fan as a kid )
2/23/2009 12:12:17 PM
naw in columbia its like 50/50, and I have seen like 3 people with south carolina state stuff hey wasnt this thread about Wake Forest?
