Take a ski trip to Colorado instead and take advantage of the free/cheap shuttles the resorts offer from the airport

living in NYC sometimes requires pinching $50-flight-voucher pennies

but if it is a deal breaker for this guy the RDU 3 should chip in like $30 each to help him out

^^went to CO last year, and stayed in a cabin in Summit Co for $100 for 5 days and went to 3 different ski resorts. Better than taking a shuttle

i feel you, mad respect to the ski/snowboarding trip organizers. i got one organized earlier this year and had to work hard on gettin 10 ppl to snowshoe...but to go to tahoe, more work def.

oh hell f*ck the d!ck with the $50 voucher, tell him the snow melted and he's not welcome.

Seems to me like the real reason you're bitching is because you're not getting to sleep a couple more hours. It's a vacation! I think that's a more selfish move than your friend wanting to save money, and take advantage of his flight vouchers if he has no other trips planned before they expire.

Even in NYC, if you're having to pinch '$50-flight-voucher' pennies maybe a 6 day ski trip shouldn't be on your list of priorities.

i don't suppose the most recent continental incident changes anything, but it might be something to think about.

^^how in the world would it change anything? After 2 years and thousands and THOUSANDS of flights in the US there is one incident where people died. You think I should worry about flying with that carrier? Good Lord man, think before you post
