Eastern NC can include, Pitt and Beaufort. But once you are south of 70, you are in the Crystal Coast and not 'Eastern North Carolina.'

simps was awesome, then they started tasting all generic, then they closed. Used to stop there every time heading west on 64. Used to be a great bbq place in manteo, but I think the original owner died and then it sucked and then became a mexican place and who knows what it is now (I drove by it yesterday and can't even remember).

I want to do the old 64 drive one time just to relive the memories.

I love US 64. I couldn't tell you how many times I've drive out there. I love driving it after midnight. No cars, no troopers, just the open road and a shit ton of bugs.
