11/1/2008 11:25:57 PM
service body is detached from the truck now not off, but detached
11/2/2008 11:05:45 PM
fix my damn trailer tongue!
11/2/2008 11:15:47 PM
you'll need a 30 ton crane to get that bitch off
11/3/2008 6:58:37 AM
Yeah really.
11/3/2008 7:45:28 AM
seriously though, my old boss over at biltmore might be willing to give you a hand with that big ass komatsu forklift, either that or trow some boards across the rafters in the garage, lift it up with some of ivans hold down straps, and drive out from under it
11/3/2008 8:10:48 AM
it can't weigh that much empty with what it's made of... two people can pull a "normal" truck bed, i don't see this one needing more than four...?
11/3/2008 8:34:25 AM
i dont know about 2 people pulling a normal truck bedit took 4 with my long bed, and 3 with my short bed.... then we fabricated the Creep
11/3/2008 8:51:53 AM
i think a normal bed is like a 1/2 ton short bed
11/3/2008 9:47:44 AM
even if they pull the 2000# of tools out, i'd estimate this bed between 800-1000#
11/3/2008 9:59:30 AM
4 people put it on the truck. I know this for sure. I know two of the folks that were in on it.
11/3/2008 10:37:06 AM
what i want to know is which one of you mexicants did the wiring?
11/3/2008 10:42:58 AM
11/3/2008 11:19:48 AM
lol
11/3/2008 11:23:30 AM
11/3/2008 11:28:30 AM
well they must have used 4000' of red wire on that damn thing
11/3/2008 11:36:28 AM
sounds like some shit adam8778 would do
11/3/2008 11:48:57 AM
^ha, don't let him fool you... that's some shit HE would do, too.i'm hardly a beast, but if two (or three if you're lazy) average/decent size men can't pull off a normal 8' (and especially a 6') half ton truck bed by themselves, they need to start eating their wheaties.
11/3/2008 11:53:27 AM
5'6 @ 145#, i eat everything i can and still dont growingenuity is what it's all about - hey dont forget about the jeep crane (although its not an original idea.[Edited on November 3, 2008 at 12:00 PM. Reason : -]
11/3/2008 12:00:09 PM
a utility bed is a little heavier than a standard bed
11/3/2008 12:11:28 PM
no shit, that's why i'm saying FOUR people instead of TWO people. this also isn't exactly a normal utility the bed either, half of the damn thing is fiberglass, plastic, or some shit.
11/3/2008 12:16:39 PM
fiberglass, plastic, aluminum, steel, duct tape, bubblegum, etc.
11/3/2008 12:18:19 PM
^definitely all of the above. It's NOT going to be hard to pull that bed. BTW, weighs in between 600 and 700 lbs.
11/3/2008 1:20:06 PM
Them sound like some famous last words son
11/3/2008 1:58:25 PM
ttt, need pics
12/3/2008 11:41:41 PM
did someone finally buy the bed?
12/3/2008 11:43:43 PM
not that i know of, it's still sitting there beside that monstrosity of a k5.[Edited on December 3, 2008 at 11:49 PM. Reason : .]
12/3/2008 11:49:20 PM
nope. the bed is still out backfo's son!
12/3/2008 11:51:36 PM
lol, gangster
12/3/2008 11:53:53 PM
I would like to see that thing at ride height.I hate to admit it, but i like it, you need to hold them bitches hostage.
12/4/2008 10:28:19 AM
Dude, I need to get you the title sometime and mayhap we finish the transaction! I still need to turn the tag in too. Dammit, too many things to do, and too scatterbrained to do them all.
12/4/2008 11:09:09 AM
that is ride height, the jack stands are on the bottom of the lower control arms so the suspension shouldn't be drooped out at all
12/4/2008 11:46:15 AM
you might wanna balance your moment equation again but i'm sure its close to ride height. either way, i still dig it.
12/4/2008 12:44:29 PM
fool's trying to get me to get some dubs now, thanks jeepmanbtwif anyone wants to sell me some wheels that are teh hottness (8x6.5), holla
12/4/2008 1:30:16 PM

12/4/2008 2:01:54 PM
can someone direct me via link to the simulator that allows you to view wheels on your vehicle, and be able to set the vehicle ride-height as well (lift/lower) that shit sucks for an 8-lug[Edited on December 4, 2008 at 2:32 PM. Reason : =]
12/4/2008 2:19:28 PM
those 24's are fs. probably more than you want to spend though.
12/4/2008 3:36:54 PM
hell nah, I love the wheels, but replacing 24" tires will be the suck with my income/budget... not to mention the increased road feelcurrently eyeballing some 20" MT Classic II's, and tires of the 285/50 profile
12/4/2008 7:53:27 PM
damn, i didn't realize they made the classic II's that big now.
12/4/2008 9:27:09 PM
goddamnit man when are you going to get something newer than 2 centuries old?
12/4/2008 9:41:49 PM
THEY COME IN 15-18, 20I love simple styled wheels, like those and the pro-comp 6007's... there are other spoked wheels I like, BUT im just not willing to lay down more than $250ish a wheel
12/4/2008 10:04:05 PM

12/5/2008 9:05:42 AM

12/5/2008 9:42:14 AM
