seriously though, my old boss over at biltmore might be willing to give you a hand with that big ass komatsu forklift, either that or trow some boards across the rafters in the garage, lift it up with some of ivans hold down straps, and drive out from under it

it can't weigh that much empty with what it's made of... two people can pull a "normal" truck bed, i don't see this one needing more than four...?

i dont know about 2 people pulling a normal truck bed

it took 4 with my long bed, and 3 with my short bed.... then we fabricated the Creep

even if they pull the 2000# of tools out, i'd estimate this bed between 800-1000#

^ha, don't let him fool you... that's some shit HE would do, too.

i'm hardly a beast, but if two (or three if you're lazy) average/decent size men can't pull off a normal 8' (and especially a 6') half ton truck bed by themselves, they need to start eating their wheaties.

Quote :
"i'd estimate this bed between 800-1000#"

sounds reasonable. 4 people should easily be able to do that. i forgot we're talking about the two shorties of the garage here though, better make it 6, lol.

or hell, just a little creativity with some pipe/tubing, wood, or an engine hoist... simple machines people, learn to use them. if i can move most of a dodge ram with one, i know you fools can figure out how to get a bed off with one. call if you need my expertise, i'm good at supervising.

no shit, that's why i'm saying FOUR people instead of TWO people. this also isn't exactly a normal utility the bed either, half of the damn thing is fiberglass, plastic, or some shit.

^definitely all of the above.

It's NOT going to be hard to pull that bed. BTW, weighs in between 600 and 700 lbs.

Dude, I need to get you the title sometime and mayhap we finish the transaction! I still need to turn the tag in too. Dammit, too many things to do, and too scatterbrained to do them all.

that is ride height, the jack stands are on the bottom of the lower control arms so the suspension shouldn't be drooped out at all

can someone direct me via link to the simulator that allows you to view wheels on your vehicle, and be able to set the vehicle ride-height as well (lift/lower)

that shit sucks for an 8-lug

hell nah, I love the wheels, but replacing 24" tires will be the suck with my income/budget... not to mention the increased road feel

currently eyeballing some 20" MT Classic II's, and tires of the 285/50 profile

I love simple styled wheels, like those and the pro-comp 6007's... there are other spoked wheels I like, BUT im just not willing to lay down more than $250ish a wheel
