HA!Inauguration Day we had our first call about a showing that ended a 3 month dry spell.We had 5 showings in a month and haven't had any since the end of FebruaryThe last 4 months have been extremely detrimental to the resale value. I am listed at about $111/SF which was very attainable last summer and fall. Now my comps are saying $90-$95/SF (but do not include the workshop and fence). Since I don't need to sell, I am not going to give it away and I am just going to take it off the market.All this talk about the economy sucking makes people want a deal. That was the main reason I wanted to buy. When I listed, the price range of my existing house was soft, but the market wasn't dead and the type of house I wanted to buy was being given away.Now the market has trended down in all price ranges.
