^ assholeHey Duke, can i make a call for suspending this fuckwit?
6/3/2008 8:16:14 PM
it's clinical
6/3/2008 8:22:14 PM
If the platforms of candidates are no longer up for discussion in presidential election threads, suspend me now.
6/3/2008 8:24:09 PM
cant kill something that aint born yet
6/3/2008 8:34:16 PM
^^^^why would you suspend ?there's nothing wrong with that
6/3/2008 8:35:41 PM
that picture had nothing to do with the discussion in this threadi'm sure there's a thread for itbut this wasn't it
6/3/2008 9:03:07 PM
no more abortion debate in this thread. that is absolutely not the focus of this thread.if you want to have different people weigh in with the same arguments yet again, feel free to create another thread devoted specifically for that purpose.[Edited on June 3, 2008 at 9:03 PM. 6/3/2008 10:27:07 PM
it's going to be good entertainment to see how Hillary handles this
6/3/2008 10:27:26 PM
She will handle it probably by appealing the Florida/Michigan ruling from the DNC the other day to try and drag this out until the convention all while grinding the party into the dust thus winning the election for McBush.
6/3/2008 10:31:57 PM
Give me one example of Obama denigrating McCain's war experienceOne
6/4/2008 12:09:54 AM
god he looked ridiculous, old, and lost out there in his speech. he is so toast. hahaha
6/4/2008 12:32:43 AM
Anyone know where I can find McCain's horrible speech from last night?
6/4/2008 9:50:33 AM
why is that people are taking this speech as his victory speech. this is nothing more than a response to the end of the clusterfuck that has been this democratic racehe had his victory speech about 3 months ago. lol
6/4/2008 9:58:37 AM
i figured i'd throw this in this thread since its somewhat related i guesshttp://www.charlotte.com/200/story/652687.htmlif the allegations are true, it looks like Bill Clinton actually pulled some quality tail and not some other hefty broad
6/4/2008 10:01:22 AM
Here it is:All I have to say is... LOL
6/4/2008 10:13:39 AM
hey terp how do you feel about Hillary running as Obama's VP? do you still hate her with a passion?
6/4/2008 10:14:38 AM
I still will
6/4/2008 10:19:39 AM
mccain is a horrible speaker. Horrible on immigration too.
6/4/2008 10:21:12 AM
The landslide victory is underway. Hold onto your hats.
6/4/2008 10:21:47 AM
^for who?I doubt either way it becomes a landslide.I think mccain will win the presidency. imo
6/4/2008 10:24:30 AM
And I think Al Gore will be the Democratic nominee.
6/4/2008 10:25:28 AM
If it's a landslide, it'd be for Obama. Consider how much more money he's raised. Consider how unpopular Bush is.
6/4/2008 10:27:24 AM
I wasnt aware bush was running again. Obama might win, I just doubt it. His policies are shit, and people tend to wise up when elected the president. (que the bush ref.)
6/4/2008 10:34:02 AM
Do not underestimate the magnitude of the Anti-War movement. There is only one person that represents this cause with vindication and resolve. There can be only one. Drink Sprite.
6/4/2008 10:34:15 AM
cue knowing how to spell cue
6/4/2008 10:34:38 AM
6/4/2008 10:38:30 AM
consider it queued
6/4/2008 10:40:44 AM
Here's Obama last night - no surprise how much better than McCain's it is

sorry about the que. Obama is clearly the better speaker. No one would deny that.
6/4/2008 10:47:34 AM
After Bush's mediocre speeches, folks could be ready for a charismatic leader.
6/4/2008 10:49:56 AM
more like a boring leader
6/4/2008 10:50:39 AM
Personally, I think Bush had a certain charm. I bet Obama will never produce anything as funny as Bush in the opening part of Fahrenheit 9/11. Dude should do stand-up comedy or Western movies after office.
6/4/2008 10:54:19 AM
6/4/2008 10:56:08 AM
^ word, eye.
6/4/2008 10:57:19 AM
Discount charisma all you want-- it's required for good leadership. And don't even act like we'll be heading in a new "direction" as far as all the stuff you're concerned with goes.Taxes won't be raised above 2000 levels.[Edited on June 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Reason : .]
6/4/2008 10:59:32 AM
charisma is more important than experience and specific plans
6/4/2008 11:00:29 AM
^ Incorrect. Obama has not proposed raising income taxes above 2000 levels (yet). However, he has proposed reversing the capital gains tax cut that Clinton signed into law in 1998. Apparently, he WANTS to discourage investment in the United States. go figure.
6/4/2008 11:03:18 AM
It isn't the charisma - it's what he's saying. I'm sure you can't see or won't see that video I posted though anyway... continue with the stupid sarcastic remarks, I'm sure a few people who read TWW are really slappin their knees after you post treetwista.
6/4/2008 11:04:09 AM
boone, some of the best salesmen have charisma. Some of the best minds and business leaders have little.Thats why I tend to listen to WHAT they are saying, not how they say it or thier delivery.Obama will be under heavy fire for his spending proposals(couldnt in the primary). Obviously, it wont matter to most of his supporters, but it will matter to a ton of voters.
6/4/2008 11:04:50 AM
I just want the most charismatic candidate to win, thats what really matters...and one who is articulate since thats also what it takes to be the most powerful man in the free world...charisma and articulation
6/4/2008 11:05:28 AM
6/4/2008 11:08:22 AM
Uh Boone he's never had a single accomplishment in his life get it straight
6/4/2008 11:09:38 AM
does he pass muster compared to his opponents experience?4 years in the Senate! that must be a new record for longest time served!]
