State Farm's pretty good. My agent is pretty close to my office and his receptionist knows me by name, knows exactly who I am when I call. They also don't try to sell me house or life insurance, they just made sure I knew that it was available. I pay $93 a month for 2 cars.

^^^^yeah it's definitely the IE driver surcharge. It really sucks. It doesn't go away completely until you have at least 8 years of being licensed.despite what people think, insurance companies can't discriminate based on sex or raceand Farm Bureau actually doesn't check credit scores for auto insurance, but they do for homeowner's

I haven't been licensed for eight years, does that mean my insurance will go down even more in a few months? It's $250ish/year now.

yeah it's 8 years, but the bulk of the surcharge is during the first 3 years, after that it's not nearly as bad
