Can you ride a motorcycle?[Edited on April 13, 2008 at 1:19 PM. Reason : assuming it has an automatic clutch...]

that rules out about 99.9% of all motorcycles, to include every street legal bike i can think of offhand.
4/13/2008 1:25:57 PM
TenaciousC: I've never really cared to ride motorcycles, even before my accident.

Have you gotten in a serious fight since the accident, and do you think you'd have any chance against a fully functional person with a similar build to you?Have you considered getting any kind of attachment on the nub? Like a hook, suction cup, etc.

do you work out? and if you do, do you lift with the amputated arm in order to keep things in proportion?
4/14/2008 6:57:12 PM
Slave Famous: I don't get into fights. I'm pretty quick and my right arm is very strong. I might not be able to take someone out (lack of fighting skills) but I think I could get a few good punches in before I go down. I have a couple of arms (hook, hand, etc) but they stay in the sock drawer 100% of the time. I just don't like it.jwb9984: I used to be big into weight lifting, but not so much anymore. When I do strength training, I always use machines. I'm hardcore into running though (3-7 miles a day usually). Obviously the remaining part of my left arm has atrophied due to inability to strengthen triceps/biceps, but that just is something I have to live with.

if he wanted to fuck someone up in a fight he could just wear the hook, that would be more deadly than a fist

How do you break apart oreo cookies, to eat one side at a time???
4/14/2008 9:35:11 PM

4/14/2008 9:36:49 PM

4/14/2008 9:37:42 PM
I don't think this one's been asked: When see other amputees out and about do you feel a need to say hello or acknowledge the other person? Have you befriended anyone else with a missing limb?

When you wear a suit, or a long sleeve shirt, do you just let the empty sleeve dangle, or do you have it shortened?
5/2/2008 4:36:53 PM
Sometimes he rolls it up. He doesn't have it shortened because in rare instances he wears his prosthetic(he's not a big fan of it).[Edited on May 2, 2008 at 5:06 PM. Reason : ]
