Love 'em. Can you believe that people used to say they were a Pearl Jam rip-off?

definitely was weiland. I was close enough to touch him at one point

Well we got in the gate at 8:30 and STP was supposed to be on at 8:45.One of the people i was with was from charlotte and had friends that worked at the amphitheater. she said she got a text from one of them saying that weiland wasnt there yet and that he always shows up late.I was like whatever, assuming she is just drunk and being dumb but after about 9:10 hit i was like damn maybe she did know someone in the back. Then when they started she proceeded to say that he had never showed up and they had a look alike standing in.With any other artist and would have been like "There's no way" but we are talking about scott weiland here so you would have to almost assume they have a Plan B in place involving a look alike

haha yeah. If it was a look-alike, he was damn good. He even was weird and danced around the stage like a psycho would.

^^^^I know right! Granted when they debuted I confused the two all the time. But they definitely came into their own, and definitely do sound different. Hell, I probably like STP more than PJ these days. PJ softened up too much!

It was definitely Weiland, unmistakable. Great show in just about every aspect, except for the few douche bags that didn't seem to know anything about STP crowding around me and holding their camera phones up.Wide range of fans too, which was cool.why the pearl jam hate? they shouldn't even be compared.
