i dont think its possible to remain friends if you try it right after breaking up. the 2 people obviously have issues and need a little time apart.

i'm friends with an ex girlfriend that i didnt speak to for a few years. never would have imagined it at the time, but now theres really nothing to be angry about. then again, we're not exactly best friends or anything either. but i suggest time apart if you really want to keep the friendship
