6/4/2008 8:02:44 AM
yeah, the ACC needs to change that shit to names that actually mean something different, having Coastal and Atlantic is just stupid...

BWAHAHAHA........Below is the 2-page report on Noise Pollution that UGA star Knowshon Moreno had to write after he was too loud in his dorm room one night... It's a pdf so no copy and paste, very worth the quick read.http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/paper871/documents/p943507i.pdf

thats pathetic
6/12/2008 11:02:36 AM
That's an SEC education.
6/12/2008 11:08:19 AM
"noise pollution occurs continuously through everyday and disrupts many people at all costs"brilliant
6/12/2008 11:32:07 AM
I'm actually fairly surprised - despite many vocabulary errors, he was able to write (mostly) in complete sentences.
6/12/2008 11:35:52 AM
^ He probably had a tutor help him write it. Of course SEC tutors probably aren't on par with other conferences' tutors either. But seriously, I don't know how athletic tutors do it. At some point I would have to look at the athlete and ask "You really are as dumb as dirt, aren't you?" Guess they have a sense of humor about it.
6/12/2008 11:42:00 AM
the best part is the part about the back flipHAHAAH the SEC IS STUPID!
6/12/2008 1:43:30 PM
What conference race is the most interesting?
6/14/2008 4:22:07 PM
they'll still choke it up
6/14/2008 4:23:13 PM
sec football is so great

Ga Tech player arrested for rape and suspendedGeorgia Tech football player Jerrard Tarrant admitted to police he performed oral sex on the woman he is accused of raping, a police report says, but he said the oral sex was consensual and they never had intercourse.Tarrant and the alleged victim had met at a party the night of April 24 and went to his on-campus dorm room, where the incident occurred sometime after 1:30 a.m. Dominique Reese, one of Tarrant's teammates, told police the woman victim was happy when she left the party but was upset when she returned.Fulton County Sheriff's OfficeJerrard Tarrant has been released on $40,000 bond. "[Reese] stated that it was obvious that something was wrong with the victim, but he did not know what," Tech police officer Marcus Walton wrote in his report. Two of the woman's friends told police she was so upset when she returned to the party that she soon left again and hid behind a staircase. When they found her, they told police, she started crying and said, "He raped me."At first, though, she didn't want to go to the police. She told one of her friends she didn't want to press charges because she was afraid if she did Tarrant would get kicked off the Tech football team, the friend said in a statement to police. Instead, the woman asked her friends to take her back to Oglethorpe University, where she and they were students. When she got there she changed her mind about pressing charges and called DeKalb County police, who brought her back to the Tech campus at about 4:30 a.m.Tarrant, 19, of Carrollton, was arrested Friday on charges of rape and sodomy. He was released Saturday on $40,000 bond. Tech football coach Paul Johnson suspended Tarrant from the team pending the outcome of the legal proceedings. Tarrant, a redshirt freshman, emerged from spring practice as one of two top contenders for a starting cornerback job this fall.A doctor who examined the alleged victim at Grady Hospital on April 25 found internal vaginal bruising. Two Georgia Bureau of Investigation reports showed no evidence of semen or male DNA in the rape kit or the woman's panties.Tarrant and the woman both told police she told him to stop performing oral sex on her. He stated that he stopped. She stated that he didn't.The woman made two statements to police, the first on the morning of the incident and the second, more detailed statement almost a month later, on May 20, after she returned from her home in Tennessee. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution does not identify victims of sexual assault. She said she had her guard down that night."I drank alcohol at the party so it wasn't hard for him to get me to go to his room," she wrote in her first statement. But once she got to Tarrant's room and he began touching her, she told him to stop because she had a boyfriend. He said that's when the oral sex ended. She said he soon started again and continued despite her continued pleas to stop.Neither Tarrant's lawyer, Charles Lea, nor Fulton County assistant district attorney Phyllis Clerk returned phone calls to their offices Tuesday afternoon.http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/metro/atlanta/stories/2008/06/30/georgia_tech_tarrant_rape.html

that's not rape
7/2/2008 1:21:00 PM
What a bullshit story. A black man has never gone down on a woman, ever.

7/3/2008 11:19:50 AM
^ Great. Now the Coastal division will be even more of a joke than it already was. Carolina could seriously contend for the ACC title this year. What a bunch of shit.
7/3/2008 11:54:15 AM
UGa upholding that SEC tradition.7 arrests since January.
7/3/2008 12:15:55 PM
they are making Tennessee look like angels
7/3/2008 1:10:05 PM
Yeah, they need to rename the Fulmer Cup after Richt now.[Edited on July 3, 2008 at 1:14 PM. Reason : name]

head of our Planning Dept. (UGA Grad) just brought by a recent UGA grad who is interviewing with us... he saw all my Tennessee shit in my office and just sighed hahaha. He pointed at a scale model of Neyland that I have and said "I spent a very very sad day there last fall" "Good... glad to hear it... the year before that wasn't too good for you either was it?"nervous nod of agreementhahaha poor guy, he was probably nervous as shit already, not sure if my light shit talking helped him relax or just made it worse[Edited on July 3, 2008 at 2:07 PM. Poor kid, he's probably still mourning the loss of Uga, too. RIP Uga, wish you would have bit that AU dudes nuts off. He had the highest WP of any Bulldog.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foGHh14uvKk[Edited on July 3, 2008 at 2:21 PM. Reason : a]

if those assholes dont beat Tennessee this year it might not happen for a while:game is @ UGAUGA killer Ainge is goneUGA is loaded, with supposedly 2 of the top 5 Heisman candidates and a top recruiting classnew QB for Tennesseenew offensive coordinatornew offensive staff actuallyUGA pissed off after getting their asses kicked the last two years when they were supposed to winUT having a bitch of an early schedule before this game: UCLA, Florida, Auburn[Edited on July 3, 2008 at 2:31 PM. 7/3/2008 2:31:12 PM
As far as betting UT vs. UCLA, I'm going with the ML underdog. That game could be 7-0, 63-56, or 49-7, and either team could get the win, haha. I don't even know how they would handicap a game like that. UT lost a bye when the UCLA game was rescheduled, IIRC
7/3/2008 2:41:12 PM
yeah, new coaches, new offenses, new QBs etc... its going to be a very open ended game... I would imagine with Tennessee traveling across country with a new starting QB on the road that they might be slight favorites, maybe even an underdog...I see it being UT - 2.5
7/3/2008 2:43:11 PM
Sounds about right. Be interesting to see what the crowd is like that night. Students won't be in school for another month, (1/2 are AZN and don't go to games anyways), and it's a Monday night on a holiday (horrible traffic/people out of town). I saw them play Oklahoma on a Saturday afternoon when they had A. Peterson and there was maybe 50,000 people there, half from OK.

7/9/2008 8:51:37 PM
I wonder if it has gotten to the point where quarterbacks can look at the screens during a play to help them out. It could be like the same view you have while playing a video game.
7/9/2008 8:54:26 PM
Well usually they show the field from the side not from behind the QB like in the Madden/NCAA. It's more Tecmo Bowl angle. But yeah it could be a huge advantage for the QB. Remember Desmond Howard watching the video screen in the Super Bowl and adjusting his run so that he wouldn't be caught on that return that set the Super Bowl record?
7/9/2008 9:03:44 PM
^^Guess you could protect your blind side that way, but you wouldn't be able to see all of your receivers.[Edited on July 9, 2008 at 9:07 PM. Reason : a]
7/9/2008 9:07:11 PM
If a QB regularly practiced looking at the screen, he could definitely make it an instinct to use whatever angle they have up on the screen.

Timmy Tebow doing some weird ass shit in Thailand with a random white baby:
7/11/2008 1:26:35 AM
crocs
7/11/2008 1:43:13 AM
It's the baby Heisman pose. And crocs? Really?
7/11/2008 2:41:31 AM
^^I'm assuming some jackass parent was like, "Hey Tebow! Do the Heisman pose with my infant child, it'll be wicked awesome!" That's just how I see it going down. That kid will have a conversation starter when he grows up.
7/11/2008 8:07:33 AM
I'm not the usual blind-UNC hater...but #2 in their division. I know the division is weak (and the ACC as a whole)...but UNC is a part of the reason why its weak.http://myespn.go.com/blogs/acc/0-1-25/ACC-Coastal-Division-rankings.html
7/11/2008 8:53:31 AM
I hear you can get Jorts for cheap in Thailand.
7/11/2008 12:55:20 PM
^^I just threw up a little in my mouth.
7/11/2008 1:38:57 PM
^^^ I am a UNC hater (not blind, but a hater nonetheless) and I'll say that two is a fairly accurate assessment of where they'll end up by season's end. Not because they're good, but just because their side of the conference sucks balls. VT and UVA lost alot, Duke never had anything to begin with, Miami is another year away from resembling their old form, and Ga. Tech has a new coaching staff. Taking all of that into consideration, I wouldn't be surprised to see Carolina representing their side of the conference in the ACC championship. The thought pisses me off until I remember that would give someone from our side of the conference the chance to expose them on national tv. Obviously I would just assume they go 0-12 and not even sniff the conference championship, but I just don't see it happening.[Edited on July 11, 2008 at 1:46 PM. Reason : asd]
7/11/2008 1:46:03 PM
I hate to say it too, but UNC is on the verge of doing something great with their football team.. They are building up well.Hopefully we can match it.
7/11/2008 2:23:07 PM
I mean the worst that can happen is they are really good for 2 years and then Bitch Davis leaves for a better job, ala Mack Brown...so i'm not too worried about it
7/11/2008 2:28:25 PM
^ I agree, but I'm so sick of waiting for the days when will be better than Carolina in anything sports related. If they win anything meaningful in football, I think I'll throw up.
7/11/2008 2:33:48 PM
I just want to go to bowling again, and preferably for UNC to not go bowling. I would also like that while in Clemson to see a win!
7/11/2008 3:26:24 PM
^you goin to death valley?
