also, this is pure speculation on my part, but the 5 point star on his hat could very well be an indication of membership in the "bloods". they use the 5 point star as a symbol.

playing "what if" with the gang-related aspect is interesting and all but thats all it is- playing. perhaps they are keeping the details to themselves so this potential gang dosent ship this asshole to another state. having to carjack her, rob her, and kill her could have been the requirement for him. he couldnt rob her if she was carrying no cash so he has to try the ATM. or maybe he asked the pin number. maybe she felt relieved when he asked for it, maybe she thought he just wanted the money and he would let her go. then he shot her, she screams and he unloads on her.

maybe if he was getting initiated, his accomplice then told him to kill her and then she screamed, or maybe the fact that she screamed led to her being shot to quiet her, but probably it was because she had seen his(their?) faces more than anything....

but honestly this is way way too speculative given that we know next to nothing aside from a possible scream and a definite robbery/shooting

My guess is a botched robbery of some sort. I doubt he was just going after her cash, but more than likely he wanted her entire wallet and her car. He could have even wanted her to drive to an ATM to withdraw money. I have a feeling killing her probably wasn't part of his original plan, but I could be wrong.

The headshot was in her right temple, as such I just assume that he put 2 or 3 in the torso and then put one in her head when she was on the ground just to be safe.

Well, it was a scream heard by the neighbors who called 911.

I dont think the crime happened on Hillcrest circle but somewhere else.

Maybe like the police said, she went to her office on campus to print somethings out and got hijacked right after she left, maybe something she said or did that pissed the dude off,

So he took a detour to Hillcrest, there is University mall near the crime scene, where they are several banks/ATMs open 24/7 I think.

Hopefully if this is a gang related thing (initiation, random crime, whatever the fuck) the area cops will start taking a stronger stand against the existence of them. Has anything even been said so far that would drag them into this? I realize the guy in the picture is a black man, but I haven't heard much about the news delving into special segments about gang crime in black america and how this guy was a part of it (blahblahblah, the same hyped up shit they always do).

I suppose they invite themselves to the party (Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton) once it looks like they can spin the issue.

Oh well, nevermind, it sounds like they're hot on the guy's trail right now, otherwise they wouldn't be withholding so much information (they always talk about cops going to the public for help or going public with all the details about a murder when they don't have enough info to find the guy or solve the crime).
