damn. i lost joie's mom's dog last weekend and someone called animal control, but kept the dog for me. when i called animal control they just gave me the number and i got it back with no fine.

the no-collar violation in cary was only $20. what was so expensive (if you don't mind) and what kind of dog was it? was it a big dog? (pit or something because i lost a poodle )

its a poodle mix and it manages to weasel through everything

we just rescued it a few weeks ago and have not had a chance to get it fixed yet, since its a male it wants to get out for reasons we can all understand

One fine was for having an unlicense pet, one for an animal running at large, one for no rabies tag. the dog has rabies shot but lost the collar it was one.

damn, that's crazy. glad you found the dog, but those charges just sound ridiculously high.

i got lucky by having someone keep the dog for me instead of turning it in. i guess i could have gotten more charges i didn't even know about. at any rate, i know you were glad to find the dog.... i was shittin' chickens till i found finley.

I mean honeslty i was just glad to have the dog back too, I had a feeling he had gotten stolen when we could nto find him. He just had a collar on wiht no tags because he wiggeld out of hte collar that had his tags adn shit on it nad we ccant find it.

I think the metal chicken wire will keep him fronm diggin out

I had plastic netting there and it worked for a while until he figured out he can chew it and dig otu if ther is a low spot in the ground. We dont even leave him outside that much, he always stays in my bedroom at night, but if its daytime and its nice out i leave him and mollie out so they can play and shit.

I am gonna take pictures of all the shit im doing ot the fence and email the animal control sup and see if he will hook it up. They seem to be fairly lenient.

The unlicenste pet thing is not enforced so i think they will drop that one, the dog has rabies vaccien i just need the paperwork, and if i can convince him we was not allowing the dog to run at large that it just escaped maybe htey will dismiss all three

my little dog nosed open the doggie door and got into the back yard. which would be ok, since it's fenced in, but then it got under the house and dug out under the sun room. actually the dog was FOUND before i even knew it was lost. haha. i got super lucky, but stressed it for 2 days.

btt-ing this thread because we just discovered mice were getting into the junk drawer and chewing all our gum

tomorrow is trapping night round 2. no less than 12 traps with peanut butter (since it's recommended and cheese wasn't working). anyone want to place an early bet... over or under 3 again.
