that's too tall of an order for me to subscribe to. unc has 4 home games dude.

A guy can dream can't he?? lolI've seen this WAY too many times. Dook and or unc-ch have in the past had teams that looked unstoppable only to not get all the BS calls in the NCAAs and of course dook always seems to lose their legs, 3's don't fall... Hansblow will get into foul trouble, refs might actually call the travels... A lot can happen to give or take away a championship run.

i hate duke with a passion and i think it comes down to two things1) The usual punk cocksucking white guy who is way too arrogant (Wojo, Redick, Paulus)2) The insane amount of flopping that goes on everytime duke is on the defensive end. During the UVA/Duke game I counted a guy hitting the deck almost every UVA possessionWith that being said, I dont think Duke can get to the final four unless they can become more consistent inside the 3 pt line[Edited on March 9, 2008 at 12:17 PM. Yeah, I dont see Duke getting past the Sweet 16... Carolina could easily win it all
3/9/2008 12:18:29 PM
TN could easily win round 2.
3/9/2008 12:24:29 PM
unc will probably win it all, which is very annoying.

^ Roy's not there?
3/9/2008 7:16:55 PM
^you must have forgotten who's coaching the Jayhawks right now. Bill Self, a perenial choker in the tournament.
3/9/2008 7:40:45 PM
i really hope unc doesnt win it all. if they do, all 08 grads would have had their college careers bookended with unc NCs with NCSU having done nothing releveant during that time.

Demarcus Nelson promised a championship so by golly i'm holding him to it
3/10/2008 5:59:30 PM
^^^I don't think Roy was there foror

howcome duke winning the acc tourney would still give unc the 1 seed. can somebody explain that? is it because duke has an extra loss or do they figure out seeding before the conference tournies?
3/10/2008 6:15:01 PM
What?
3/10/2008 6:22:26 PM
if unc won the game saturday they get the top #1 seed and their first 4 games at home. I'm just wondering why conference tournaments don't count towards who gets that. Is this a new thing?

^^ regular season acc champs & #1 final ranking would be my guess. i dunno[Edited on March 10, 2008 at 6:35 PM. Reason : .]
3/10/2008 6:35:24 PM
^^^ what the hell are you basing that on? the seeds are nowhere to being set in stone....except ucla of course
3/10/2008 6:37:48 PM
UNC can still lose their number 1 seed but they'd probably have to lose in the first round of the ACC tournament.
3/10/2008 7:49:54 PM
If Duke wins the ACC, they should be get the #1 seed regardless of when Carolina loses.
3/10/2008 8:35:40 PM
they won't though.. Duke is pretty much a lock for a 2 seed at this point
3/10/2008 8:41:29 PM
yeah i agree with ernie...12 teams automatically makes a conference #1 seedable after a winner wins
3/10/2008 8:42:31 PM
Duke has won 7 of the past 9 tournaments, and been in 9 of the past 10 finals.I wouldn't count them out.
3/10/2008 8:46:08 PM
i just dont see how unc will not make a 1 seed. They could lose by 40 on friday and still get it. Duke is pretty much a guaranteed 2 seed anyway.

3/11/2008 11:02:48 AM
if you dont think Dook CANT turn it on during the tourny then im going to have to give you the scheyerface
3/11/2008 11:55:26 AM
its seems like a lot of people have figured out duke though....play solid perimeter defenseeasier said than done i know
