The world ends Dec. 21st 2012? Sounds like we can even use the calendar to predict who will win the next presidential election.

^^ I'd be surprised if anyone could respond with something stupider than that comparison.

true, comparing one person to an entire civilization isnt very a good comparison.
3/6/2008 3:35:38 PM
neither is comparing the survival of a civilization to the credibility of their calanders

But I didn't compare anything, brainiac. If you disagree then please explain why I should put faith in a vague prediction by a failed civiliation that practiced human sacrifice and worshipped a corn god.

yet again you make a judgement on one thing using something that is completely unrelatedtheir religious rituals and whatever reason their civilization died off has little to nothing to do with how accurate their caladers areits no different that dismissing newtonian physics because newton was a hermitobviously you think their calander is religiously motivated, its not, its the product of pure astronomical sciencethe fact is, it is 100% accurate from then up until know in predicting the cycles of the starts sun earth etc. what happens when it finishes is the whole argumentit obviously starts over but the details are unclear
