I think I should start saying "ahoy-ahoy"; Alexander Graham Bell tried to make that the standard greeting but it never took off. Mr. Burns says it every time he answers.

if there is caller id, it depends on who it is. Either a "yelllllo" or a "hiya"I used to answer my phone with "ahoy hoy" but i haven't done that in awhile
