That guy should have just come in wearing a Clemens jersey, and a hat that said "Rocket" across the top...How can you not understand McNamee's position,......Toolbag reporter asks you a question that could destroy your livelihood with no proof, lie...the federal government with substantial proof and threatens severe penalty asks you a question, tell the truth, pretty basic if you ask me....

Now the real issue, I don't think Clemens will serve any time, and I think McNamee could get anywhere in the 7-10M range for his book, everyone will buy this thing.

yeah so far, despite the douche from Indiana, McNamee's conflicts make a lot more sense than Roger's

Translation= I like Clemens, let him off the hook. So Pettitte is a liar too? Because he accused Clemens of the same thing. Guess what, getting interrogated by some beat reporter before the steroids "boom" is a little different than when the Federal Govt. knocks on your doorstep threatening jail time if you don't tell the truth after the the steroids boom. A 6 year old can understand this concept. You've never heard of a criminal deny deny deny, and then law enforcement turns up the heat, conveys they have substantial proof, and then the suspect gives in and tells the truth.

LOL

This hearing has proved absolutely nothing, literally nothing. There is still no evidence, there never will be, barring a confession from Clemens himself its all HEARSAY.

Are you actually watching any of this? McNamee sounds like a fool answering his questions. He can't remember is unsure ect, at least Clemens story stays the same. McNamee can't remember if he put on his fucking underwear this morning.

Maybe Clemens did use steriods, at this point we still have no conclusive evidence that he did. I want to see what Andy Pettite said in his deposition it would be interesting if we can see that later in the hearing.

Sorry I'm not so ready to throw a guy under a bus w/o proof, and this hearing has shown none so far. It's laughable at best.

send them both to jail...in the same cell

this isn't really going anywhere...both seem to be telling a little of the truth and a little bit of lies

but it seems pettite thinks roger used hgh

I dont doubt that Roger was shot with more than just B12. but this trainer guy isn't looking to good in all this. I understand he lied before to protect Roger and now that the heat is on him he is telling the truth.. At least that's how I can justify believing Roger took the good stuff. They only thing they can send anyone to jail for at this time is perjury. Rogers reputation will take a hit on this. And ultimately his fate lies with the Hall of Fame voters.

Yeah just like the last guy was saying, McNamee told just enough of the truth to get by each time. Makes sense to me

oh that's nice. Applause for Clemens followed by the important question of what jersey he'll wear in the hall of fame.

Because it's the most likely thing for McNamee to be lying about.

But it seems like the nanny's comments are going to bury Clemens.

The rep that asked him about what he should say to his kids and then asked what uniform he's wearing in the hall of fame....should be shot. Totally inappropriate and ridiculous.

Clemens should have never showed up. What we're seeing is exactly what you'd expect when a bunch of trained law professionals grill a meat head. At least Palmeiro, McGwire and the rest were smart enough to just not say much of anything at all. Clemens looks more and more guilty every time he opens his mouth. Huge mistake to show up and a terrible job by his lawyers preparing him.

It's terrible that it's come this far, but with all the recanting he's done, he really must feel he can beat this thing. Too bad. He won't do any jail time, but it would've been easier on everyone involved if he had already admitted it.

When he doesn't have a good answer for certain questions, all he does is go back to the blanket "I have never used steroids" or talk about how great of a man he is

Every major league ball player who uses steroids would love it if you were the commissioner, they'd pay you handsomely.

because it's an attempt for the Clemens supporters to deviate from the important facts. Pettite used, had Mcnamee as a trainer, Knaublauch used, had McNamee as a trainer, Clemens .....had McNamee as a trainer.. BUT WAIT, MCNAMEE'S MEMORY IS FOGGY ABOUT A BARBECUE PARTY, OR WORSE YET, HE LIED ABOUT CLEMENS BEING AT THE PARTY, ALERT THE FEDS, CLEMENS IS INNOCENT OF TAKING STEROIDS BECAUSE MCNAMEE LIED ABOUT HIS BEING AT A BARBECUE! Nevermind all the other relevant evidence
