so Jimmy Eat World was very very solid tonight. I was quite impressed.6 songs off of "Chase This Light"4 songs off of "Clarity"3 songs off of "Futures"3 songs off of "Bleed American"I think "Blister" and "For Me this is Heaven" were the highlights of the night for sure. And on a random note, a bunch of the original members of hopesfall, one of my favorite bands ever, were at the show (all but ryan parrish and chris kincaid). so that was pretty sweet.

bed time. but thinking back on it, despite it being just over an hour at 16 songs, it was one of my favorite live performances ive seen for sure. they played a very balanced set and nailed everything.

I'd be going if it wasn't on a weekday (don't live in CLT)

Neither do I

it's kind of funny that since around the time I went to the show I was talking about in this thread (which I obviously really enjoyed), I haven't hardly enjoyed anything else they have released. Chase This Light was not bad, but it was my least favorite since their original self titled (not Bleed American). I bought both the last two albums and didn't really enjoy either. Not sure if it's me or what. Up through CTL I thought they were such a consistently good rock band.

WTF sarcasm? Also quoting me from 2008? I'm not gonna even bother looking up what i was replying to.Also if it was today I'd rather see the Foo Fighters

I was saying JEW was bitterly sarcastic at the show, not you. I was pumped for them before the show but I thought they were just flat compared to green day who had a great show.Besides the quote was from 5 years ago but it was about a show 6 years before that, so I think it's still valid.
