There's no question my parents considered abortion, if only momentarily. Which is why I"m not answering the posed question.

they didn't.

they actually eloped once they found out.

mom was raised catholic, dad was baptist or something.

After going through the abortion process once, i'm not sure i could even do it again myself.

My friends often claimed that w/ me, because of the age difference between my sister and me. Parents obviously deny the claim, and tell me that they wanted another one of God's miracles

i was the product of baby envy.

my mom was first to have a kid. she always said he was her only child. then my aunt had my cousin. mom was fine. but when my aunt had a second child a few years later, my mom got baby fever again.

it took about 2.5 years for my mom to get pregnant the second time. and i wondered why they push me so hard to succeed.

Because I like the delusion that my parents have never had sex (because that's really not a pretty picture). And not knowing my biological parents makes that a lot easier.

I was the result of baby envy as well.

And uneducated-parent pregnancy was all the rage in lower-middle-class mid '80's Maryland. My parents were not related, terpball.

It just occurred to me that nobody I know lives in Beltsville anymore. Except for my pothead friend, Johnny Felts. Oddly enough, Beltsville is a stoner town now. Hmmm. [/digression]
