Well, if it makes you feel any better, Strom Thurmond was 3rd in line for the Presidency when he was President Pro-Tem of the Senate.

I'd prefer McCain to Hillary or Obama, to be honest.Depending on his running mate.

Giuliani drops out, endorses McCain

is their anyone out there that i can vote for who is a fiscal conservative and a social liberal? damn...i hate these fuckin' elections!!!
2/5/2008 12:21:02 PM
^ I'm with you on that.I've always considered myself a Republican, but as I've gotten older I've become much more moderate in my social views. I can almost support Obama, but I completely disagree with his views on Iraq. The country will not be as safe as it is now if a democrat is elected President.

I mean seriously. Why can't we get some one who wants to eliminate the national debt, crack down on frivolous government spending, focus on national issues instead of playing world police, is a social liberal (I mean seriously...who give a fuck if Bob marries Gary) and isn't in the pockets of big business. It sounds so simple to me yet we have no one who is willing to step up. Its very frustrating!!

I am in the same boat as you Sparky, unfortunately a lot of Democrats want something for nothing and need to be angry all the time and a lot of Republicans want to control what you do in the privacy of your own home.I would like Ron Paul if he wasn't completely insane on issues such as national security and federal reserve banking.[Edited on February 5, 2008 at 1:18 PM. I want Huckabee...
2/5/2008 1:34:38 PM
I am sure the republicans will just forget half of their base and nominate McCain and Rudy for the ticket, I think a more likely possibility is Huckabee + McCain; to me, Romney is too much of a cookie-cutter candidate.
2/5/2008 7:06:36 PM
I'm going to guess McCain and Huckabee. It looks like Huckabee is content with adopting the role of taking votes away from Romney, or in other words, buttering up McCain so he'll choose him as his running mate.

plus mccain voted against the tax cut and huck has his own wierd plan...i think they would do some cool funky shitwish they'd hire greenspan to do something
