i watched a Tom Cruise video on it, and he spent fucking 10 minutes saying nothing! It was just crap about being better, and something, awesome, oh, and it's awesome, don't forget. It seriously gave no information about what it was, what it does, what it believes. No different from any other cult.

^ LEWL! Looks like somebody's seen V for Vendetta a few too many times.Still, would be nice if they were able to properly expose the darker parts of scientology and the lives they have ruined (and how they have ruined said lives). A religion should be transparent, not run like a damn national security agency.
1/28/2008 6:19:30 PM
^ They don't even deny the relationship between the two. Some of their posters are literally ripped straight from the movie.[Edited on January 28, 2008 at 6:29 PM. Reason : too big]

o shit. the REGIME has DR SBAITSO on the payrollanon better back up quickly. thats all im saying about this
1/28/2008 6:29:18 PM
This could get good
1/28/2008 6:37:35 PM
I sure hope this gets good. Like, so good that "Anon" catches Tom Cruise sucking the blood from the necks of the dissenters.scientology is ridiculous and needs to be exposed and dissected, the same way our society does every "religion". I thought about going to one of the centers or whatever-the-fuck while I was living in Orlando, but I was way too creeped out by the place. It was in a stripmall type storefront directly on the busiest street in Orlando. very sketchy.

http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Project_Chanology_iRL_Raids_Latest_NewsIf you want info on "The Regime"...Well, it's PRETTY amusing: http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/The_RegimeOverall it looks like their protests happened how they wanted them to happen.
2/10/2008 1:45:17 PM
wow. all the hatred vs. christians and scientologists. good thing the people that founded this country never really based it from religous freedom
2/10/2008 2:34:48 PM
yea its ok to strip you of your human/civil rights..... as long as religion is in the mix. its all good
2/10/2008 3:00:42 PM
yea it's ok to say religion strips the country of civil rights as an excuse to wage war against it

religion and war are synonymous war on the infidelswar on the non-believers etc... and really... war ? No one is killing anyone. This is a peaceful protest[Edited on February 10, 2008 at 3:56 PM. Reason : x]
2/10/2008 3:52:10 PM
modern islam and war go togethernot modern christianity and warscientology however.... that's just fucking nuts (but not as bad as mooslims)
2/10/2008 3:58:17 PM
modern christianity is only peaceful because the vast majority of its followers say they're christian but dont exactly believe in all of its doctrines. most christians arent christians. but apart from that, i really dont care.^ you fail to realize that the vast majority of scientologists have a pro active stance on ruining a persons life if opposed. Most are radicals. while muslims, there are radical sects, and non radical sects. [Edited on February 10, 2008 at 4:08 PM. Reason : x]

I think it can be said now that 392 is the dumbest user on TWW. Officially.First of all, he thinks that Scientology has just as much legitimacy as other religions... because other religions need teams of overzealous lawyers to protect their "trade secrets", because other religions have stolen government documents to cover up their actions, and because other religions are vehemently against freedom of speech.Second of all, if he had done any research at all into what is going on, he'd see that Anon has publicly said that they are NOT against the belief system of Scientology itself, they are against the Church of Scientology and its actions (such as extortion of members, virtual enslavement of staff, covered-up murders, and the frivolous lawsuits handed out against anyone who dares to speak out against them).Third of all, he doesn't try to respond to anyone's argument, he just trolls them badly.Anyway, I support Anon, and given that they are from some of the stupidest areas of the Internet, I hope that they don't fuck it up.Also, to anyone that didn't already know, the Church of Scientology defines anyone that speaks out against them as a "Suppressive Person", and such people are "Fair Game" to be attacked in any way possible by any members. This little fact would be VERY scary if Scientology were actually a major world religion.[Edited on February 10, 2008 at 8:48 PM. Reason : .]
2/10/2008 8:44:47 PM
I just don't see how people can suspend disbelief with the whole angels/heaven thing, then turn around and call Scientology crazy. It boggles my mind.
2/10/2008 9:37:45 PM
^ well, even though believing in things like a virgin giving birth and space planes that look like dc-3s are both considerable leaps of faith, one seems slightly less crazy than the other.
2/10/2008 9:53:20 PM
i think space aliens are far more believable than virgin births1 is a subject we know nothing about, 1 is a subject we know almost everything about
2/10/2008 10:24:11 PM
i didnt say space aliens, i said space aliens piloting dc-3s.
2/10/2008 10:26:46 PM
Also add in the fact that one is preceeded by the idea of a being who can do whatever the fuck he wants...While the other is written by a science fiction author.

to borrow an idea from frank zappa, cant we just start taxing the churches?

if you piss off enough people it's hard to distinguish between a DDoS and public opinion
2/11/2008 2:01:09 AM
I could give exactly three shits about what Scientologists actually believe. It's what they've done that pisses me off.Why should the organization behind the largest criminal infiltration of the US government in history receive a tax break from that very same government?

2/11/2008 9:08:57 AM
I'm aware.
2/11/2008 9:10:18 AM
I support dismantling any and all organized religions. Whether we agree that Scientology is a religion or a cult doesn't matter, it's all semantics. I would equally support a war on the Christian, Catholic, Muslim, and any other organized faith.Even Buddhism, just to be fair.
2/11/2008 10:11:16 AM
^you've completely missed the point of why they're doing this
2/11/2008 10:17:25 AM
I havent missed the point of anonymous' agenda. They wish to dismantle it for reasons other than my own, but the end result will be the same.[Edited on February 11, 2008 at 10:20 AM. Reason : ]

/b/
2/11/2008 10:26:09 AM
^^No, you did miss the point almost entirely. They're not trying to dismantle Scientology as a religion at all. They aren't fighting religion in any sense of the word. They're fighting the organization called the Church of Scientology. For all they care, anyone can go on believing whatever they want about Xenu and space planes, but they should not be doing it under the control of a corrupt and criminal organization.
