The job is through Goodyear. It's corporate. What I don't understand is if I don't pass I saw in another thread that I can say it isn't valid, that or email and say that I have in the past but nothing in the last year of college. What do you think?

honestly dude just go for it and whatever happens happens.....its not the end of the world and there are other jobs out there, some probably way better than this, that dont test as hard...that being said i'm guessing you will pass it

so hes already taken the test? yeah i got a feeling he is gonna fail if he just took some hits off a blunt

and by the way...definitely dont shave all the hair off now if they have already met you...shaving off all the hair may work BEFORE you meet them, but doing it afterwards and trying to refute a drug test that was negative is like a common sense "dur" type dead give a way of you trying to hide the fact that you used drugs

i just got done with about 125 drug tests over the past 18 months (passed em all too). i learned a lot about them, a whole lot. i was on some pretty strict testing that even showed ibuprofen. it showed the level of like amino acids in my piss.

i even had to take some blood drug tests and they were crazy too

i think once they took some bile out of me too. HA just kidding on that one

never did hair, as the point was to test for drug use from 7-11-06 and later. at least i think thats why they didnt. might be cause they cant detect new use as easily

but anyways there are thresholds and stuff like that. and in most cases if you get a result you don't like, you are allowed to retest (sometimes they will make you pay, at least with mine). so if you fail (assuming you even have enough to pass the threshold, because you are allowed SOME trace amounts of certain things), definitely do anything you can to plead false positive or error. stall it out and get retested and you may come out under limits. its not like a pregnancy test, the good drug tests come back as 2-3 page reports that look like spreadsheets.

there are TONS of myths out there it all really depends on the type of drug test. they say ibuprofen can produce false positives for pot. not true on any that i took. as a matter of fact, it was in its own column. and actually, my marijuana level never ever ever changed. all types of other stuff did, depending on what i was eating and stuff.

they say that second hand pot smoke can make you break the threshold. i was in a situation once where there were people smoking in a living room that i walked into and through. i was tested 2 days later and i still came back without even a trace amount (and not even close to the threshold)

but i seriously doubt that you will fail [badly]. and i think you can easily take water and decrease the levels of the shit they look for

damn, ive been on a 2 test per week thing. sometimes they called me in 2 days in a row even. my situation is/was VERY different than the kind of situation that most people end up in. probation tests are only once a month. but my probation actually did the right thing and waived me for all testing since i was getting better tests 8 times as often. wondering where your similar experience occured

Well they can't even mail out my samples until monday(they are open) then it will be tested. Will that help at all or no? I know there are other jobs but I need to start asap. I am going on a vacation for spring break one way or the other and my tax refund is not going to be it! haha Either way how do I dispute if I fail? and what if hes like thats it man you failed the end we arent hiring how do you dispute it?

Well I think it takes a while to get into the hair. But good luck. Its not like you're a casual user. You've done drugs 62 more times than most of the population. Its a gamble. Either way you're gonna have to do that test. But I hope you get the job. At least if you don't get it you'll maybe change your habits.

im not sure how drug testing works with employment laws

with the particular situation i was in, i had the right to a retest, but that came from the corporation and not the government.

just ask how to get it retested if you fail, i dunno
