they're taking their sweet time responding to my calls and email, which they requested... now what i really want to know is why in the hell there's a burnt copy of a springsteen cd in my car, when i do not listen to him, nor does anyone i know, for that matter. i've never seen the handwriting on the cd before... or that brand of cd in my house. now why the fuck it's there is the mystery... supposedly, they only had a key to open the car, it doesn't let you start it. when the bank gave my car back, they also gave me a key that the tow company left, which opens the car and turns on the battery, but will not start the car. could it be possible that they did have a key that would start the car, or they got it started and possibly drove it? i was so freaked out when they took it that i did not log the mileage or take pictures of it being towed. it's by far not the nicest car out there, but it's fun as hell to drive... i know that i would be tempted to take it for a go if it wasn't my car. it's an '03 rsx-s, 6spd... you get the point. i want the fucking security camera footage now. :/

The car belongs to them, not you. They can do whatever the fuck they want to with it.

no, the car belongs to the BANK... they have NO right to fuck up ANYBODY'S car. if it was property of the bank, AND uninsured, and they drove it (as in not being towed), it seems to me that it's technically theft. i'm calling a lawyer in the morning... before i find anything else wrong with it. :/

why dont you pick your lil bitchy ego up off the floor and remember that any damage to 'your' car is what happens when you dont make the payments... spacing out and forgetting shit is no fucking excuse.

it is hard to find sympathy for someone who's car got damaged during a repo.

exactly!

eat my cock. just because i fuck up doesn't give someone else the right to take advantage of my situation and break the law.

you broke your contract by not making your payment. they did what they had to do, recoup as much of the property as they could. you can hear it now or hear it from judge judy YOU FUCKED UP - GET OVER IT!

You guys will support the biggest white trash loser in any situation regardless of how fucked up their actions might be.

eh- i beg to differ a bit... towed my old Jetta couple years back- I woke up when i heard them and he had it hooked on- Was about to tow it through the yard and off the curb... After fighting with him to drop it and pay him a few bucks he insisted he was taking it... I explained that if he pulled it off the curb it was gonna tear my ground effects off, he ignored, GE's dragged all the way down Kaplan...Got a lawer, spent a couple hundred, got PWNT'ed by the fucking towing company in the long run-

if you paid your damn bills on time, you wouldnt waste that truck drivers time having to come out there and deal with your shit, they could be making a lot more money towing cars from poorly marked spaces downtown

you should've just taken it to small claims court to begin with instead of trying to get advice from these guys.

I hope to someday have enough money to not notice if my car payment was taken out or not.....

Why not go to talk to Student Legal Services? If you're a student, that's what you pay fees for. Then you can decide the best course of action.

superdude - i'm sure he didn't mind making money on towing my car. i don't think he would get up and go to work every day if it was a pain in his ass every time he had to tow something - it's his job. i'm equally sure many other people would not do their job if it was a complete waste of their time and/or they didn't make money doing it.skack - just making sure. mcangel - yeeeah, i always wonder what people will say on here, you get such a wide gamut of opinions and can always get a good laugh out of the retards.brett - i'm not a student... but that would be a good idea if i were.

How much forewarning do you recieve before your car is repo'd?I would imagine it's a decent amount of time......I still dont think they should have damaged the vehicle, nor do I think its your fault it got damaged. Its your fault it got repo'd but that doesnt mean its your fault it got damaged.

yeah really... the bank had been sending shit to my mom & former stepfather's house, and i never see the guy so i got my mail way too late. oh well.
