im kinda in the same position. I moved back home mid december cause I was originally gonna ship January 9th and wanted time with the fam first. Well now my ship date is May 13th b/c my officer package didnt get back in time. Im tryin to move out cause Im 26 and shouldnt be living off my parents. My parents told me if I move out then they are taking the car and Im on my own. So I'll pretty much be screwed at first but Im too independent to live off of other people, even family.

even if you are allowed to stay i STILL think picking up a second job (bartending or waiting tables) is a good idea. you can save a lot of money fast. how long are you going to stay? until bonus in april? why not work a second job until then? atleast for a month or so...you will make $$$ and be able to get on your feet by yourself.

anyway, don't you have a few close friends who can give you some small loans? If not, you only know assholes. I mean I've loaned one of my good friends $500 before. But yeah getting a 2nd job is always an option and it's actually not that hard to get by on very little cash. You just have to be smart/give up all the "luxuries" you're used to. Eventually it'll pass so it's all good.
