andyWolfVill - I don't like the Pat's, but let me point out to you that Brady had already won a couple superbowl trophies before Moss came along. Moss doesn't have his head up his ass for a change this year so he is having a great year thus who ever is throwing to him will have good numbers also. It just happens to be Brady this year. We all wish we were dating the supermodels he was....P.S. I think it is weird of you n00b to hate someone so much that you don't know....and then talk about him getting hammered in the shower by his O-line.....sounds to me like you are jealous it isn't you getting in the shower with Brady..... I only say that because a comment like that either comes from a 10 year old.....or some guy who is hiding his gayness.....

the anger this is generating is unreal. funny thing, everyone hates the yankees because they just spend money and buy their titles. now everyone hates the patriots, who really don't overspend at all, use their money wisely, and develop their own talent/draft well/sign well. will people start hating the spurs after this year? probably not because they aren't on SC 24/7. Ask yourself if sportscenter and espn didn't exist if you would still hate the patriots as much. in an era of sports and athletes when everything is about me, and making money, and an overall "look at me i'm great attitude" it is refreshing to see a team like the patriots. feel free to hate them because they are on tv all the time, and feel free to hate them if you are a die hard miami fan and love your 17-0, but i for one wouldn't mind seeing them go 16-0, it will never happen again and would be a cool thing to see.then I hope they lose in the playoffs to my titans.

This is just the classic case of your average joe, who thinks like a loser, being jealous of success. If the average joe's team can't be good, no one else should be good. The fan who isn't a cry baby should respect what the patriots do and hope that his own team can manage itself as the patriots do.

cheating arguement is just a lame cop out. first off, all the teams in the nfl do some sort of variation on what the patriots did, they just did it out in the open and got caught. second, it has no effect on the season. easily the most overblown sports story of the year. hate them all you want, i just find it funny that the team has a lot of the opposite characteristics that usually make me hate teams.

HAHA, you think b/c I'm not an NFL superstar, I'm jealous of Tom Brady? Everyone in the NFL makes more money than me and most of them live a lavish life...I just hate Tom Brady. Everytime something bad happens he runs off the field stomping and pouting like a little baby. He's just the ideal spoiled brat. He has great talent but it doesn't mean you have to like him.

randy moss + tom brady better equal at least 40 td's btw...
12/29/2007 11:50:12 AM
hell randy moss + daunte culpepper = 39 td's.I think adding randy moss could give any competent QB at least 30.

I am tired of hearing about them this year, but I am more tired of hearing about the 'fins and their champagne popping after the last undefeated team looses each year....yeah chris burman, we fucking got it, you dont need to talk about it every god damn week. Oh and that dude from their team that does the rapping on sportscenter every few weeks...I am tired of that idiot too.

Maybe the Patriots will gouge a few Giant's eyes out to win... now that they know they can get away with it.

^ok. I'd put money on nobody going 16-0 again. A lot went right for them, and there were games they should have lost this year. It is so hard to do what they did, people don't want to give them credit but in the modern NFL system, the teams are so even to win 16 games in a row is an incredible task. I don't even think the pats are the best team in the last 15 years, yet they were the only ones to go 16-0. There have been better teams in the past 15 years with 2 and 3 losses during the regular season. I guess I should never say never, but I'd be shocked if it happens again in 40 years. A lot of luck seemed to go their way.
12/30/2007 2:33:20 AM
plz to list the teams over the past 15 years who you think were better than the patriotsremember while their division did suck, they went 4-0 against the nfc east
12/30/2007 2:39:29 AM
I just think some of the cowboys, 49ers, denver teams during their respective seasons where as good if not better compared to their competition yet still didn't go 16-0. I don't think the Pats have a great defense this year, although their offense is probably the best ever. My point was more or less that in the recent football era(last 15 years) there are teams that have had similar pedigrees to this year's patriots yet didn't go 16-0. It is very hard to win 16 football games in a row, and the miami dolphin team everyone will point didn't beat a team over .500 during the regular season. Keep in mind that the NFL sets up the schedule now in a way that makes it very hard to be a good team with an easy schedule. If you want to argue that the pats are the best team ever then that is fine, you are just helping my point that it took the best team of all time to go 16-0.
12/30/2007 2:45:24 AM
while their defense wasn't necessarily dominant, it was the 4th ranked defense in the whole leaguei know their D carried me to a fantasy league championship

I wonder if that Wilfork eye poke will result in a suspension. That would be huge
