ive known way too many people being cheated on and that have cheated. Its quite ridiculous. Maybe thats why i fear long term relationships. Im too jaded to believe in a happy marriage. Maybe thats why i treat girls like shit after they have sex with me. maybe thats why im an asshole.

bull FUCKING shit. There are PLENTY of states where cheating on one's spouse is not grounds for a divorce. The only bounds that exist on cheating in a marriage are religious ones. Don't lie to yourself like that

nobody said anything about allowing cheating in the first post. It says cheating is wrong and is expected not to happen. So if he isn't getting sex at home and he cannot cheat, he should be allowed to sue for divorce. L2R PLZ KKTHX

no one is saying NEED to have sex all the time, but husbands always do nice stuff for their wives, maybe, even though your sex drive might be low, you could do something for your husband also. Sex is important to keep both parties happy, and if you honestly think that you can have a happy relationship without regular sex (at least the first 10 years), then you are extremely ignorant about life.

i think 4 'sexual encounters' a week is a good number...2 during the work week, 2 during the weekend. whether that is intercourse, oral whatever.

While it may still legally be marriage, in my not-so-humble opinion, that hardly constitutes any real marriage.

I don't think that a woman holding out on her spouse constitutes adequate grounds for cheating at all. But in the grand scheme of things, it really is up to the couple to decide if it IS adequate grounds for divorce. If it is used as a tool for manipulation, then obviously the marriage is a dysfunctional one, and the couple either needs to work through their issues together with each other or with the help of a therapist, or agree to divorce (or at least separate; no other option in NC but to separate prior to considering divorce).

Sure, many people suffer from sexual dysfunctionality of some sort. But there ARE medical solutions, and still, couples are able to make compromises. A real marriage won't be perfect, but it will consist of two partners who make daily compromises for the good of their relationship and their mutual happiness and satisfaction.

Trust me on this one: the older you get, the less you think with your dick. Sure, most of us men definitely have our randy moments (I won't lie; I have 'em all the damn time), but there are a hell of a lot more important things in life and in a relationship than just sex. Don't get me wrong; it's still a pretty important thing, but pushing for it relentlessly (or even cheating) is just as selfish as withholding sex all the time.
