^^ It can be quick sometimes. But especially at the beginning of the semester, its unusable.

^^I'll have to use that starbucks line some time. I know a few carolina people that it would really fit well for. lol @ liberal arts colleges.
12/10/2007 11:18:34 PM
they pretty much just need toSHUT THE FUCK UPwe roll deep in the brickbitches
12/10/2007 11:43:45 PM
i've been to a few of the other colleges on the list and they didn't seem all that ugly to me, except rutgers, it is a shithole and should be #1
12/11/2007 12:26:33 AM
drexel isn't as bad as everyone says imo, mainly b/c it's still in the middle of philly. you can just look at upenn's buildings instead and you don't even know it.and they have some new buildings that are pretty fresh.
12/11/2007 12:27:41 AM
yeah I don't really give a shit about how supposedly ugly we are, i like the look of the brickyardI will agree that Centennial is worlds better than that slum they call Daniels. It just feels ancient and very much in disrepair.
12/11/2007 12:31:36 AM
i love the bricks. i have to of course. theres no other choice. However, if i didnt go to NCSU, i would probably agree with the survey that NCSU has a shit ton of ugly bricks.and Ive been to Arizona State fwiw... its an ugly fucking campus. Objectively -- much uglier than NCSU. Its also in an ugly fucking suburb, in one of the ugliest fucking cities in the United States. but got-damn theres a more than enough scantily clad drop-dead hot chicks running around there to make you go blind. I ain't never seen such a sight in my life. Better than UCLA even. [Edited on December 11, 2007 at 12:38 AM. Reason : ]

and the problem is? I've always liked NCSU's campus, between the older buildings and the newer ones, the trees and how its right ON a traintrack.
12/11/2007 12:50:42 AM
^i hate the damn train. dumb choke points everywhere and you have to go around your elbow to get to your asshole.
12/11/2007 12:51:58 AM
Would it kill 'em to use some stone once in a while?Or block?Or even concrete?
12/11/2007 12:55:40 AM
I <3 our bricks. If you ask me we need more bricks. We need a brick factory on campus, made out of bricks of course.
12/11/2007 1:46:58 PM
shut the fuck up dummy
12/11/2007 1:51:39 PM

I don't care, I like the bricks. If shit goes down I know I can chuck a brick at something. At UNC a hand full of grass/dirt ain't going to do nothing.
12/11/2007 2:38:35 PM
at least we don't have some gay name for the exterior skin of our buildingslike HOKIESTONE or DUKE STONEor some other stupid, churched-up shit
12/11/2007 3:38:49 PM
the brick sculptures do look like ass
12/11/2007 5:02:09 PM
Can you honestly tell me that a few buildings on State's campus would not look better with some of those ^x9 on the exterior walls?
12/20/2007 11:47:14 PM
the bricks are a mark of tradition at state, the reason we have them is due to a surplus after the civil war, not many schools can even say that they were built pre-civil war. the bricks are awesome and at least its classy and original. poe needs to be torn down however.
12/21/2007 12:11:04 AM
too easy
12/21/2007 12:12:31 AM
12/21/2007 12:16:34 AM
^^^ Um. . .four things--at least:1. So every building has to be brick? I mean, you didn't like any of the block or stone that I posted? 2. A lot of buildings have been built at State since the Civil War period.3. Civil War: 1861-1865. NC State University: established 1887. The bricks were in "surplus" for 22 years? 4. According to State's own Web site, at least some bricks came from the following place:
12/21/2007 12:18:02 AM
i don't really care that the buildings are brick--whoever decided to make the fucking sidewalks brick needs to catch an ass-whoopin'
12/21/2007 12:19:58 AM
^^next you'll be wanting to lay sod in the brickyard
12/21/2007 12:21:47 AM
^^ Agree.^ WTF? NO--I WOULD SIMPLY LIKE TO SEE A FEW BUILDINGS THAT AREN'T FUCKING BRICK!!!1[Edited on December 21, 2007 at 12:23 AM. Reason : .]

i'm actually glad i got my degree before engineering moved to centennial. even though centennial may be prettier than engineering row, you can't get a sense of tradition out there. i like the bricks and i like the old campus. i may be biased though.
12/21/2007 12:52:47 AM
^^ Probably not a bad idea--as long as they don't take up even more parking spaces just to plant a few scrub trees.
